When we meet Iron Bull, he comments how he likes redhead woman. Now I am curious if he has different comments for the female Inquisitor depending on her hair color (redhead or not).
Does Iron Bull comment on redhead female inquisitor?

Sadly, no. I rolled up a redhead and not a peep. I'm doing his romance arc, but he never mentions it unfortunately. I was kinda hoping he would too. ![]()

I feel like it was strategically written in such a way that you could interpret it as him flirting with you directly if you wanted to do so.

Good question, I've been curious as well.

Sera has also had a lot of comments about my female Dwarf as well. Makes me chuckle just thinking about some of them ![]()

Yes, my first play through was with a red haired male inquisitor and when Iron Bull started going "Mmm... read heads" thought he was stating that I was his biatch now. Was like "Ok i'll leave you be then, time to take someone else with me now." lol.

If we had a color picker for hair, it would actually be a lot easier. They could reference the RGB values to determine if hair is red (or at least close).

Hair color is probably saved as an integer value corresponding to the slider value, and while they could probably reference the value if they wanted to, that's a very loose way to code. It would be prone to error should the slider values ever change.
If we had a color picker for hair, it would actually be a lot easier. They could reference the RGB values to determine if hair is red (or at least close).
I suspect if the slider numbers ever changed, hair color would unintentionally change in a number of saved games, so the numbers are unlikely to change. Black hair does seem to be missing from PC, though, so they are going to have to figure something out.
Still, they could retrieve the RBG values for the selected option one time, at character creation, and save the variable. It's just a question of cost-benefit.

He never said nothing to my Inquisitor and she's a redhead... It's a pity though, it could be funny. xd

Thanks for the replies. I kinda suspected he wouldn't say anything (since there are many variations of hair color) but I still felt curious.

Does Sera comment on you if you play as a female Qunari?
She definitely does. In fact, she is easier to romance as a femqunari. Turns out she likes 'em tall and toned. Lol

She's grown quite fond of my small "Elfy" inquisitor too
Though yeah, it was more work for me. God, I love Sera.

When she first met my femQunari she looked up and fawned around all dreamy eyed. X) She grew to hate her though, lol.

That would have been awesome, but sadly no. My first inquisitor was a redhead and he rode the bull but no hair comments. ![]()

It will be nice some day when AI is intelligent enough to contextually interact with the PC in such a way, but I don't think AI is quite up to the task at this point
It's nothing THAT complicated.
You can choose the hair color right? Each color has a code or address. If they wanted Iron Bull to comment on redheads, all they had to do was make an algorithm that basically says: "if this code/address to this code/address then Iron Bull comments".
In other words, it's theoretically possible, the problem is it could bring more bugs with it.

Oh heck yes.
Even the first meeting with her has different dialogue if you're a Qunari. And yes, it does come up a lot when trying to romance her.
