When you failed at very end:

fucking_noobs_zps56577a8c.jpg

For the gods sake, level -10 players shouldnt be join threatening difficulty- because they keep dying

at end enemy Commander keep destroying them and thanks to them I also dying even I'm lv 18...

DAI Multiplayer is all about teamwork, and when someone fails then others will down like domino stones.

Funny thing is game keep redirecting me to low levels lobby in threatening difficulty today

If you folks want to make fast-gold then do quick-run in Routine difficulty with katari or templars, you must

have armor in your group if you want complete the mission.

I'm actually a bit happy when the team wipes fast on the 5th wave, but I don't go out of my way to lose because people do like to actually complete the whole dungeon. Just doing the first four stages is best gold/time ratio though.

Haha.  Yesterday I brought in my level 8 Necromancer into Threatening and immediately received two kick votes.  The third never came so the game launched and when all was said and done I was at the top of the scoreboard by a decent margin.  This was against level 14+ characters.  The point is that unless you can see a person's gear, it is impossible to judge their quality.  While there are minimum level requirements for certain skills (Virulent Bomb requires level 6, or 7 with Death Siphon) the important one(s) can be obtained by level 8 or so.  For reference, even the game suggests levels 8-16 for Threatening.  While there are certainly inexperienced/bad players, the only way they will get better is by earning gold and practicing; Threatening is the best place for that.

Once you are properly equipped, threatening becomes quite easy.

Weapons and personal skill get you through the low levels.  Once you have good gear, and a great feel for your character you could easily take them into threatening as a level 1 and do well.  Sure, you arent nearly at maximum strength, but you dont need to be.  As a hunter with fallback plan, my boomstick, and 15% heal on kill, as a level 1 I can still well outperform the average pug.

Perhaps you'd like some cheese to go with your clumsily spelled whine?

Player level has almost nothing at all to do with dieing to the Demon commander.

@Beerfish

As noted previously player level matters in the sense that you may not have spare skill points to invest into a possible escape skill or have alternative methods for dealing damage just yet.  The Demon Commander is probably one of the few enemies that actually requires player skill (and a good connection to the host) but player level also plays a part since even the best players will get hit by him eventually.  Having additional skills can help to minimize the risk however.  I understand what you mean though and there is certainly a learning curve for him that is beyond the rest of the enemies in the game.

I agree. Gear, especially a strong weapon, can make or break a character. A level 1 hunter with the Griffon bow will usually outperform a level 10 with some crappy low level white or blue bow. Personally I think weapon damage affects far too many aspects of the game.

elitism - the thought, of being better than all others and condemn those that are not as skilled.

but in this game Gear is everything...so any level 1 can stay in a threatening mode of action....and with 25 resets of his character, he may very well be much better equipped stat wise too.

So take that level argument and throw it out the door, because your level 20 character may not be as good as his level 1 with 25 resets and full level 23 gear,  which leaves us with only one conclusion, your an elitist.

One thing I liked about ME3 MP, that DAMP should implement, is the ability to see each player's loadout.  I tended to do Gold runs, and I could tell by the N7 level (ie how many times promoted), weapons/levels, and perks they had as to experienced a player was.

This should also be in DAMP.

This. So simple, how could they have left this out?

I suspect there are plenty of players that are skilled enough to learn fast on any difficulty. The game is a month old. At this point everyone is a newbie. Deal with it.

I agree with this as well. I actually made a post about inspecting each other's character about a week ago. Level doesn't really mean a whole lot when you are properly geared. Myself and the guys I play with regularly promote and run threatening on level ones to completion. It's not that bad unless everyone is a level one. The biggest things you miss out on is the passives which add more survivability.

I've joined several threatening games as level 1 and done better than the rest of the team. Level 1 characters doesn't = new player, especially not with the promotion system. You realistically have no way of knowing, beyond a banner [which not everyone even knows about] if the player is experienced or new.

Why are you still doing Threatening with a level 18? It's much more efficient XP wise to go Perilous past level 14.

Also, with proper gear and group, 4 level 1 characters can clear Threatening without much trouble. So when I read you don't want to see players below level 10...
