For anyone who is curious, this guy was a big YouTube LPer from 2008-2012 until he quickly faded into obscurity because of lower views, his arrogant attitude, hypocrisy, and his sheer incompetence at playing video games.

 

Just recently his ego caused him to lose his website, a good chunk of his administrators and moderators, and his Twitch account. 

 

Also playing video games is his livelihood, ouch.

I had my own DSP moment playing Witcher 2 last week.

But Phil turns it into an art form. DSP fail compilations (This is how NOT to play game x) can run over an hour long. God bless DSP.

Choosing Roman Empire on 5th difficulty and got beaten by the French in turn 80 in Civilization V. 

But I guess Civilization stories isn't very attractive to begin with.

DA:I has a LOT of bugs yes, especially the PS4 version, it's unbelievable how many there are. The XBOX ONE version isn't so bad luckily.

 

That's what happens when you buy a PS4...

Wiseass! Haha! But you know.... I'm usually a playstation player but this time comparing the xbone and ps4 I actually like the xbone a lot better, microsoft has done a really good job, the system and everything is so smooth and well done

 

Of course I am, I hear I'm quite good at it.

 

I always buy a Playstation (eventually) for the exclusives, but I NEVER buy any third party game on a Playstation despite all of the "bonuses" it gets. This was made apparent to me when i got into a disagreement, on another forums, about how Fallout 3 on Playstation was worse than PC (naturally) or 360 (shockingly). There were so many bugs on the PS3 version that were not present on either PC or 360, and most of the PS3 bugs remain unfixed. Granted, I have no guarantee that such a thing occurs with non-Bethesda games, but it really would not surprise me even with the change in generation (if you could even call it amn actual change). 

 

I'll also submit the above as an epic fail in gaming.

I somehow watched his entire playthrough of the Witcher 2. He had like, 10 videos of just him fighting the first boss, and had to go buy a keyboard because of it, iirc.

 

The reason the boss fight took so long for him to beat is because he couldn't grasp the concept of an Inventory, and getting new gear.

Buying Divinity: OS at full price, then realizing how terrible I am at turn-based games, uninstalling and never touching it again.

 

Getting invaded by a hacker with scraping spear in the Old Monk boss fight in Demon's Souls. Also the Valley of Defilement has made me really angry a few times.

 

Killed and cursed by a hacker in Dark Souls Blighttown area. Then fell off a platform while on the way to retrieve my lost 25k souls. Losing over 100k souls at Four Kings.

 

Tailing missions of AC4 almost brought me to tears. Some of the stealth segments of Arkham City, like Strange's tower, got me raging a lot too.

I was winning as Elizabeth VS that German guy (Bismarck?) that I forgot the name and I was winning, but I forgot I activated the time limit, got to year 2050 and lost... And I still want the Elizabeth Achievement... Bah.
