You actually have a respec in MP.
Get to level 20. Then hit that "promote" button. You'll even earn a nice +1 willpower to all your characters, it's a win-win situation!

You'll be able to use everything you'll just have your level reset to level 1 and there's a small risk of getting Ebola.

Equipment in MP has no level restrictions. Just muscle through to level 20 and promote and you can start over.

That's the cool thing about the way they set this up. You can use any applicable item, level independent.
It's a good way to try different builds. And as mentioned, each time you promote a certain class you receive +1 constitution, willpower, or cunning.
