Dear Bioware, what the hell? This is the first requisition I get and I've NEVER been able to fulfill it.

I see this a lot -they seem to have fixed Fallow mire along with rescaling the enemies so you get the loot - some of the others still seem missing.

For me, the mythical "find this" item was "Ferelden Lock".

I haven't found even one.  I suspect my requisition officer is trolling me....

I was able to get all the decorative gems I needed in the Hinterlands by basically farming enemy templars and mages before completing the quests to eradicate their base camps.

That's the thing. Once the templar/mage base camps are gone, so are all chances of ever finding Decorative Gems again.

That's just insanely shitty design. Especially with the stupid "quest items get lumped in with trash" thing.

Ok, so, next playthrough I'll exterminate less efficiently. Good to know.

I found 2.  I suspect the same.  I managed to get the Ceremonial Burial Armor quest done, somehow.  I found some in the Temple of Pride while I was looting the place.  It was in the final Frost room.

I have very unwelcome and painful flashbacks to my most hated quest in Origins: Getting 10 Garnets, because...just like with this quest, it was mostly based on pure luck and chance.  So many hours spent pick-pocketing every single populated area in the game...

What makes it particularly frustrating in DA:I is that some of those requisition items end up in my sodding valuables slot.  The malachite and the spider ichor both end up in there.  As well as the creature info tags that you turn in for research.  That really needs to be tweaked, because as a result of those quest/exp related items being sent to the valuables slot automatically, I've never used the "Sell All" function.

To answer your questions...   you missed your chance.  Some items only drop in certain areas before you clear them out.   You'v probably cleared out your areas and missed your chance.  The real shame here is you can't delete quests that can't be completed.   Don't worry,  requisitions are 99% pointless.
