In Dawn of the Seeker, there was a young elven girl named Avexis who was key to Frenic's plan to kill the previous Divine. (Seems like a popular evil plan.) She was able to speak to animals and could command dragons after she was forced to drink dragon blood.

There's a young Tranquil in Haven who you see speaking to Mother Gisele and a few other NPCs on occasion. She sometimes mentions how she "no longer talks to dragons." At first, I just thought it was a leftover Haven cultist, but I thought it was unusual she was an elf. Finally it occurred to me: is that Avexis? Did the Chantry make her Tranquil?

Don't know if I'm right. She disappears once you get to Skyhold, and you can't ask Cassandra about it. Still, it seems likely.

Shame that we can't create Oculara.

I'd like to think they'd have included some kind of interaction with Cassandra if that was indeed the case. Seems a waste otherwise.

No, not Avexis!  :crying:

Avexis chose to be made tranquil. It wasn't imposed.

Do you think Avexis' Oculara would have some sort of special properties?

I though Cassandra doesn't talk about it? Or do you mean her personal quest where she realizes that Seekers are people who were Tranquil then had it reversed by a Spirit of Faith?

Do you think the Tevinter magister's Ocularum will have special properties after I make them?

More reason I'm glad I sided with the mages and made Leliana divine.

Tevinter magisters don't have that special spark that made Avexis you silly goose!

Bolded part, because she said that if you do that the mage will become emotionally unstable

Which will literally turn them into a ticking time bomb

She doesn't discuss Avexis, specifically, but a mage can ask her about the reversal process. She claims it requires investigation because the immediate side affects are so severe, so they need to examine the long term ramifications to see if a tranquil who has been restored can regain their composure or if they'll forever be an unstable, emotional wreck.

She also says that if the reversal process is proven to be viable, she'll spread word of it herself.

Because the next time a girl feels she's too dangerous and can be used to summon an army of dragons, the mages will just maker her Tranquil themselves? That makes a lot of sense. She choose this.

Is the ticking another side effect?

Considering that tranquility normally requires the approval of the first enchanter, yes, mages are capable of allowing others to be made tranquil.

Sounds to me like you just said you came into this thread to say you sided with the mages and made Leliana Divine, not because it was relevant, but because you just wanted to talk about how you did that.
