All is as it should be. Now we just gotta wait for the planets to align.

Is this all for ensuring the creation of Alexius Age or is it some other nefarious plot?

Good thing we know how to cure tranquility and I also made Alexius into my researcher that way I can control those 10 dragons and their babies instead of killing them.

I'm sure Flemeth willwill greatly approve

I also wondered if she was Avexis when I heard the bit about talking to dragons, and seeing that she was an elf mage/tranquil.  Made me sad. :(

Is she blonde like in the movie?

Yes she is blonde. Couldn't get a close enough look at the eye color to compare though.

You don't really know more about the characters than their creators, tbh.

I know. I'm just a fan expressing my dislike for something they did that ruined my enjoyment of something of theirs.

You're just angry they foiled your theory about Cassandra's perpetual virginity.

Anyway, yea, Avexis - assuming that is who this girl is, which I'm perfectly willing to accept. She tells Mother Giselle that a) she volunteered for the Right, and 2) would not wish it reversed if it was possible.

So, given your desire to cure her, would you be prepared to ignore her wishes in the process?

Actually, that has nothing to do with it. The reason I don't like it is stated in the post you quoted.

She states she doesn't wish it reversed due to the risk of possession due to all the demons currently roaming Thedas due to the Breach, as well as not knowing if she would experience discomfort for some things she has experienced while she was a Tranquil. That means this innocent woman was taken advantage of in one shape or form since she cannot defend herself. So if there was a way to do it like the Seekers where they are restored to who they were and not have the danger of possession, yes I would go against the 'wishes'(doesn't have wishes due to being Tranquil) of someone who has suffered so that they won't suffer more.

Not in the sense I think you are thinking of. I was more referring to just someone using her being Tranquil against her, thus taken advantage of. So for example it would be similar to when someone uses someone's handicap against them, the handicapped person is taken advantage of.

Tranquil lack emotions, but they do possess free will. And while I'm not unsympathetic to the fact that she experienced some trauma or another while tranquil, I'm not particularly comfortable in imposing that trauma on her if she would chose not to have it.

I'm sure if a tranquil wanted to be restored to a fully functioning mage, then once Cassandra has investigated the side effects fully, she would allow it.    However, many tranquil have stated they wish to stay as they are.   Dorian specifically asks Cassandra if it is true the process can be reversed because tranquillity is used in Tevinter, not as an act of mercy, but to punish dissidents, much as Meredith did in Kirkwall and Templars have done elsewhere.   Since many of those in Tevinter  are lower class mages who simply got on the wrong side of a Magister, they are not dangerous mages (except politically) and so he wishes to help them be restored if it is possible.   They would definitely be tranquil who would accept reversal if offered to them.   Hence his enquiry of Cassandra and her promise to let him know if it is a viable procedure.

It this tranquil you are talking about is the girl from Dawn of the Seeker, Cassandra clearly would take an interest in her welfare.   Now the breach is closed, the danger she wished to avoid is no longer there, and two years down the line Cassandra must know whether it is possible or not without adverse side effects.    That is not to say that she might still wish to stay as a tranquil.   In which case her choice should be respected.

Wynne was technically worse than Tranquil. Tranquil have their emotions removed. Wynne had everything removed. So when restored, she should have reacted far worse than a Tranquil would.
As for Cassandra, doesn't she talk with Cole or someone about it still being with her, causing her to wonder if due to the nature of the spirit she is as faithful as she is, and the companion says that isn't the reason but instead it was her faith that drew the spirit to her? It makes no sense if she remains not Tranquil after the spirit leaves, since Karl in DA2 reverts back to Tranquil after Justice receeds back into Anders.

What happened with Justice was uncontrolled. The ritual specifically calls a spirit to touch the Tranquil mind, which is a much more intimate, if you will, action than have a spirit manifest next to you. That's the difference.

Wynne wasn't dead that long, and the damage that tye spirit healed was physical. I'd think it the equivalent of how we revive people today.

The Karl thing doesn't make sense in the light of what is explained in Asunder.    Either Justice did touch Karl's mind, however briefly, in which case his restoration should have been permanent, or it didn't, so he should not have come back at all.   As it is we just have to accept that was a one off anomaly.

In Wynne's case, as with Evangeline, it wasn't a case of reversing tranquillity but reviving from death.   According to his short story, this is what  Justice also does with Anders when he is attacked by Templars.      This is why I wondered if Anders was really dead at the end of DA2 but it would seem that he was because they both saw the justice in his execution, so Justice simply returned to the Fade.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that was Avexis, and it is sad.
