Sorry if this has been asked before but the cullen thread is ridiculously long!

 

I very much liked the Cullen Romance but ... damn that Alistair ... cant be beat.

 

So sad they didn't give him much importance in DAI

I think they mean to compare which romance was better? I think? Personally I liked both equally, but they aren't my favorites in the series by a long shot. Much preferred Zevran from Origins and Solas from Inquisition over both of them, though both Alistair and Cullen made me laugh the most.

Objectively, both romances are great in their own way. Alistair was my main romance for my Amell in Origins, but I chose Solas in Inquisition for my Lavellan.

That's a tough one for me. I see Cullen as kinda Alistair 2.0

 

Both are amazing in their respective games. But I really enjoy the cut scenes with Cullen and the attention to detail in the facial animations so I think he has more replay value for me personally.

 

But Alistair was so damn cute and dorky. I loved the party banter between him and Morrigan nothing can top that.

I liked Alistair and enjoyed romancing him...but after a while I got really sick of him. I guess the naive goofy guy just wears thin after awhile. lol!

 

I haven't experienced Cullen's romance yet. But judging by his character as a friend, I think I would prefer him to Alistair.

There are quite a number of things in this game that I believe are setting up the next one. That is one of those and it had to be the same in effect as stroud, so....

I can't speak on romance because I haven't seen Cullen's yet, but I think he edges out Alistair in terms of character.

I've never quite understood the attraction of Cullen. I mean, I like him and I'm glad we can help him because he's had a crap life, but....

 

On the other hand, I'm very fond of Alistair, although I always have to convince him to look out for himself. It always seemed important to me that he not be quite so darn trusting.
