Pretty small, http://i.imgur.com/VcpEATm.jpg. Looks like <5 metres. Thing to note the damage increase isn't 50 but 100% but it only works on basic attacks and has no use on skills.

most important info was that it doesn't work on abilities.

 

probably Bioware didn't think that it was important, which is why they did not mention it in the 200-pages-manual
