I bought ME3 from Origin and don't remember registering (perhaps that was automatic).  For about 9 months I've played the ME trilogy until my "discovery" curve totally FLATENED OUT.

Now I've purchased (on sale) Dragon Age Origins from that -- you know -- other "evil empire" known as as Steam.   I'd rather avail myself of the Origin forums because they have the IGNORE FEATURE which forces [most of] the crass juveniles to migrate to the Steam forums.

Problem is -- I get the message "you can't post on this forum" when it comes to Dragon Age Origins.   Some research says to "register your game" or "link your registered game to the Origin forum".

Please tell me how to register, link, or offer blood sacrifices -- for a Steam game to Origin so I can avail myself of the fine forums here.

Thanks for your thoughts.

I think you'll have to go into your Origin client and redeem a code (your CD Key from the steam version) and it should carry it over and link it to your Origin account.

Here is a link to a guide for it. Granted it's for DA2, but the basics still apply: http://steamcommunit.../?insideModal=1

If it doesn't work maybe contact support?

Start up DA:O, click the Log In button on the lower left corner of the screen, and log in using your Origin e-mail and password. It should register then.
