Entering The Promo Code For DAO

I'm trying to A. Load my characters onto the Keep and B. Load them onto the BSN so that I have those game emblems under my name. Not only did I get this game for free, I had downloaded it on Origin digitally, and on multiple Laptops. It didn't work with the second one, so should I use the promo code on the first Laptop I downloaded it on?
