So you have magic that can totally change bodies (see Krem discussion) but it's totally illogical to change hair colour?
Finally someone gets it

"Yeah but then someone could have blue hair in their game and that totally ruins the experience in my game" - reasoning of some people on this forum
I would just like way more hairstyle choices. And each set of choices exclusive to male or female just to limit NPC recycling. It was a bit awkward when I realized the guy I was judging at Skyhold had the exact same hairdo as mine.
I would like to have more hairstyles and hair colors.
As for unnatural hair colors being not canon, dying thing different colors is. So it can just be that the character dyed their hair that color.

In biowares mind you can use magic to change your sex(krems/iron bulls second in command conversation)but can't change your hair nor can u dyebut you can have blue cheeks and blue lips along with a color of red that's unnatural. That's biowares reasoning! Oh wtf is the deal with them using the same playdo hair that was in most of there games this is 2014
So they don't want uncanon hair colour but will then let us have whatever ridiculous eye colour we can think of? Seems a bit inconsistent. And is it canon to not have any form of hair that is actually black? I won't even go into the eyebrow colours...
I agree, a colour wheel would be great for getting the exact colour you want (that and more natural lighting in the character generator).
That's really a ridiculous copout for a single player game. It should be entirely up to the player if they want a natural hair color or an outlandish one since it has zero effect on anyone else. Bioware is supposed to be the studio that champions player choice in it's game design after all.
On a related note, in my view the developers should have given real support to modders for this very reason. Follow Skyrim's example. Such support is only ever going to benefit your title and extend it's life span.

when you said that "bioware should have had given real support to modders" does that mean for console's and pc or just pc because on a pc it can be done without the help of bioware, I've seen a lot of Hawke models that pc users use and there hair styles are amazing the models look way better then anything bioware has put in the games but that leaves out console users
Bump
I'll just leave this here for future reference, Bioware:
Sliders to adjust hair length. Who'da thought of that? ![]()
Click and drag for the hair. Oh those crazy Asians... right?
Adjust the body model so not every character has the same body? Madness!
No, this is what a character creator should be like.

to be continued....
I do want the colour wheel for more natural, less saturated hair tones. (Bright red, orange and yellow, ugh.) If they want to force players to have natural hair colours then those colours should actually be mudda****in' natural.
I can't pretend I'm not terrified at the thought of all the pink-haired inqis out there if that happens though. D:
I'm with the people who want more hair period. It went from 15 or so acceptable styles (in my opinion) in origins to 2 in Inquisition. Wtf.
Only because it would be nice to have actual black hair.
