I see that you write fic! Do you plan on writing anything for Ameridan and your inq.? I would love to see your take on his character. How you would deal with him processing Telana's death and falling for someone else.  Maybe how he'd react to the world now. He said his magic can delay his death but not stop it. I haven't found any fic for him and now i'm really intrigued.

I was shocked as well. There are a few Solas/Lavellan fics that mention him but none focused solely on him, from what I have seen anyway. Which needs to be rectified! He needs the spotlight I think! To be the star! And I could never EVER EVER say no to Abelas, accompanying Ameridan in a fic or having his own the answer will always be YES! MORE ABELAS!  If your writing muse ever feels the need to show Ameridan or our dear Abelas some attention, I would love to read what you cook up!

Though I try not to mix up the voice actors with the characters they play. Still, though my heart belongs to the Finns, the Welsh have such beautiful voices.

You do have an excellent point, Silent! Things were rocky! I just thought if his wife had not died he would have eventually set things right. I have a lot of faith in Thane I guess. He had what a decade(?) without her.  Ameridan wakes up from a "little" nap, totally unaware of when things are and is still very much in love with Telana.  (Edit:Not that Thane wasn't still crazy for Irikah! Irikah is awesome and important.He  just had time to process. Where Ameridan didn't.)

 

Abelas is all mysterious and strong and sorrowful and surly. He has the potential to be anything and I think that's his big draw. Apart from the shiny lips and the powerful features, those eyes, the thighs..um...I don't need to list this..you get it...lol

Thank you! I believe that Thane was very in love with Irikah but then they drifted apart and then she died and because Thane blames himself for her death he wasn't able to move on and that's why he talks so much about her. I love Thane byt the way

I agree that there is so much potential in Abelas and so many possibilities how his story could develop. Hopefully we'll see that!

I replayed the Arbor Wilds last night and took a good look at the random sentinals fighting in the woods. One of them looked like a Abelas clone with white eyebrows. So we know that sentinals were born after the veil came down. I wonder how many children Abelas has!?

Did you hear the conversation the avvar leader had about the avvar guy outside the house? If you recruit Amund (avvar guy outside the house in Fallow Mire) I believe he gets it on with Svarah (thane). I seem to remember that conversation. She was talking about how he was good in bed. I'm undecided on the avvar myself. May just be too much mud for me. Then again... mud wrestling with one of those big beefy men might prove interesting.

Havent gotten the console yet so sitting on needles. It takes time here if you order online. I have PS3 so I have played JoH

 

Good thing is I cannot eat anything with milk or gluten in it so I will mass fruits when I get my package from postal office

Wasnt it same in Haven with that Andraste cult? Felt exact same pattern,the cult members didnt let anyone in Temple of Sacred Ashes for centuries,killed everyone who got near. And it was thought they had inbreeding that lead to mental problems and reason why they started to worship a dragon? The Hero of Ferelden wiped out the cult. I just have that odd feeling that there is something important hanging just right out of my reach in my brain regarding DA world and I have missed the link that connects to that truth. All this feels more and more Mythal in action to me,moving her little chess pieces around the Thedas board and one of them is Abelas
