I like the process of making it,how the spoon sounds when you stir it and process of sitting down with the hot cup,finding a magazine or something online to read. Private time,quiet time,relaxing. Tea brings back memories from childhood and makes me just happy

Have some loose leaf Korean Long Jin and added some dried ginger and lemon grass. Tasty!

That sounds lovely Gooseberry! Yeah, there really is something to be said for the whole ritual of tea making. I assume it is the same for coffee but I hate coffee so I don't know (don't tell kitchen ginger).

Now that does sound nice! I love ginger everything and I have some lemon grass growing outside though it's coming to the end of its life now. Have to try that. I bought some Shan tea the other day. It's Vietnamese wild tea. But I can't get past the sort smokey/woody flavor of it. Any recommendations on what to add to that? I don't know if there is any hope but I'd like to try and find a way to drink it. I have some rose petal tea that I adore. I don't add anything to it since it's one of those rare occasions when it would lose its flavor. 

 

Just sitting here wondering what you both might think about Elvhen and their emotions.... do you think they feel things deeper than mortals?

Your wild tea sounds interesting! I might try to offset the smokiness with dried berries or maybe give it a sweet spiciness like with a chai. I've been making my way through my local tea shop trying to find my favorite green tea. Really like the smoothness of Long Jin and Sencha. Gunpowder is interesting but can be a bit bitter. Sometimes I want that bitterness though.

 

I do think the elves might feel things more deeply especially since Solas compared people to tranquils who don't feel anything!

 

ETA: Anyone have any theories on why their skin has that unusual color? At first I thought it might be an ancient elf thing, but Solas' skin is the same as the Dalish. Does it have something to do with being a servant of Mythal?

 I liked it actually,did not like the spiders tho. Those were just everywhere. I have difficulties with orientation so map ingame and the blue marker was big help for me,otherwise I would have been totally lost. Frostback basin was one of those maps where I needed to be on my toes.

Technically their skin is that color because it has a weird filter on it. Theoretically, I think it is because they slumber or are in uthenera right up until the point they are invaded. It looks like a cross between poor circulation and the beginning stages of death. Blue/purple lips, yellowing skin etc...  Solas has been out of uthenera for a year I believe before we encounter him. The sentinels haven't been so lucky.

Did you hear the conversation the avvar leader had about the avvar guy outside the house? If you recruit Amund (avvar guy outside the house in Fallow Mire) I believe he gets it on with Svarah (thane). I seem to remember that conversation. She was talking about how he was good in bed. I'm undecided on the avvar myself. May just be too much mud for me. Then again... mud wrestling with one of those big beefy men might prove interesting.

Wasnt it same in Haven with that Andraste cult? Felt exact same pattern,the cult members didnt let anyone in Temple of Sacred Ashes for centuries,killed everyone who got near. And it was thought they had inbreeding that lead to mental problems and reason why they started to worship a dragon? The Hero of Ferelden wiped out the cult. I just have that odd feeling that there is something important hanging just right out of my reach in my brain regarding DA world and I have missed the link that connects to that truth. All this feels more and more Mythal in action to me,moving her little chess pieces around the Thedas board and one of them is Abelas

I have also a feeling that the "truth" about everything is there somewhere in DA world but I can't see it because I'm not sure which pieces of information are relevant and which are not. However I believe that Solas, Mythal and Abelas can give hints but understanding those people are very hard because they are so cryptic.

 

EDIT: Well. At this point I think it would be better that Mythal will control Abelas instead if Solas because it seems that Solas' plans usually fail. I think it would be safer for Abelas.

Avvar reminded me of the Nords in Skyrim. Now the Nords in Skyrim... Maker I would definitely get down and dirty with them. Ralof was so sexy but I loved that Imperial mage follower too.. I can't think of his name. He had an awesome nose. Mercutio? I think that was him and the thieves guild guy. Oh he was yummy. Never wanted to steal something so much in my life.

I'm not sure does that suggest that other than elves partake in the well. But it seems that they prepared many years. Probably more than  people's lifespan is in Thedas.  I think this suggest that:

The "spirit" isn't actually engaging in the activity..but i don't know...I'd hope Mythal would be er kind enough to keep quite at a time like that. Maybe just be like "Good get you some Abelas you deserve it!" and then you know find a nice quite spot in the inqs mind to drink tea and read up on knitting, or new ways to make us cry?

Brynjolf... I'm sure I didn't spell that right. The one that recruits you and then there was another I liked once I was in the thieves guild. Mercutio was awesome. I loved his witty replies especially when we were in a deep dark dungeon with creepies.
