Yeah, I think the point with that piece is to give them all hair.  I think I like Abelas bald or nearly bald the best.

I kind of imagine him having a braided updo beneath the hood.Pretty much like the one from the concept art for the sentinels but who knows.

Sounds like it could be Mark Bazeley to me.  He did the Sith Warrior in SWTOR.

He's listed as being in Inquisition and doing additional voices on imdb (although it's not always reliable), so he might be our man?

The actor who voices Abelas definitely has at least 2 different voice over roles in the game, so this could be the guy.

Mark Bazely has some sound files here. Sounds like him to me, though in a deeper/ gravelly tone as opposed to the lighter ones which are most of these examples.

 

Abelas speaking in a northern English accent gives me... feelings.

 

BTW Dorian's VA is at the same agency.

 

Edit again: Holy cow, that site has a lot of the VA's, including Cassandra's VA doing a French accent. She sounds totally different but I'm pretty sure she did the voice for Celene's handmaid.

I would pay for a DLC of Abelas' armor for at least an Elf Inquisitor in the regular game. It's just that amazing!

Wow. I was completely fine with Abelas being bald but after seeing him like this...mmm. White hair is just the sexiest!

For me it depends,if he came back for a cameo,I wouldn't mind at all being bald,although he'd probably wear his hood all the time.
But if for some reason they decided to bring him back as a companion in one of the next games,I'd prefer he had hair because the bald head is Solas' look.

If he's just in for a cameo than yeah, the hood will probably stay. I hope he isn't just a cameo though. For the whole minute he was in the game he quickly became one of the more interesting characters.

I agree with your point about baldness being Solas' thing. It would be like someone else having Dorian's mustache or Vivienne's hat.

Were they? I must admit I don't really remember the other elves lol

When I said baldness was his thing I meant it in terms of our companions' appearances. They all have something that is specifically theirs. Like Vivienne and Cole with their hats, Cullen with his fur coat, Cassandra's scar. Being bald is Solas'. Sorry if I'm rambling. It's currently three in the morning and I really should get some sleep.

EDIT: Nevermind totally forgot that Vivienne is bald as well. Lol
