Oooh, okay. I never saw his concept art, so I thought it was just an interesting choice. He looks so unhappy. </3 The black is really severe on him. It certainly has an effect, but I like the idea of him being this strange, glittering golden being that's from another age. Not least because my own Shiral is silver, and I like the pairing of silver and gold. I'm just cheesy at heart.

I recommend writing. I have been writing Abelas fanfiction and I have post it here on the forum even though english is not my native language and I don't have any previous exprecience on writing but I wanted to do it because I wanted that Abelas gets more recognition and I have enjoyed writing it.

Unlikely  If Morrigan kills him, his death is pretty obvious and on-screen.  We're more likely to see Samson or Calpernia again, since even in the scenario where they die, they jump into a ravine and don't actually perish on-screen.  I know BioWare has retconned deaths before, but they seem to be trending away from that with DA:I.  Notably, you can't personally kill any of your companions or advisers like you could in the previous games.

Yah, I'm not sure if Abelas will even re-appear. I don't know what the canon is for the game, but he's probably not going to be a love interest. I think fan appreciation is his best chance of even showing up again.

Well, I'm sure they're going to do /something/ about the Solas story. The fans have been pretty vocal about them not leaving it dangling. I don't think it's going to be a happy ending, necessarily, but I think closure is probably better than "who knooowws." We'll get a sexy new elf love interest the next game though, I'm sure.

It's unlikely - I can see him MAYBE showing up as a companion during DLC or like as a returning character during some quest but since there is the chance he can be killed, I doubt BW will bring him back as a companion. Though in this game they really didn't seem to mind retconning some serious ****; Leliana's potential death, Cullen's massively problematic back story(which they totally whitewash), the way the Dalish view mages(tossing them out on their butts).  Sooooo - you never know.  He gets a lot of love by the community so you never know.  I would LOVE LOVE for him to come back as a LI in the next game, but I just don't see it.
