Oh the hypocrisy.

I must be sheltered because I haven't heard of anyone saying needs less glitter. 

 

I view weekes post on glitter to be canon, even though its probably about his book than the game itself. Still. I want glitter rubbed like baby oil or marinated chicken..

Back to Abelas... I was hoping for some insight concerning some questions that started popping up in my head.

 

When he says every time they awake it slips further from their grasp, does he mean their actual memories or the demise of his ancient culture?

 

Do you think men and women served different roles in the temple? The reason I ask this is because the warrior sentinels all looked male to me. The one female looked to be a lore keeper or something?

 

Was Abelas willingly staying in the temple or was he under a compulsion to stay? 

 

Was it ever discovered if it was Abelas wielding the big hammer or something else? I am thinking they are all arcane warriors?

 

If you read the ancient elvish writing it seems to suggest that there were elves being born inside the temple and he was teaching them... so the new elves had no choice but to become servants? 

 

Remind me to answer these when I'm more awake. I'm just letting you know I saw them and I WILL headcanon up some answers. 

 

But for the weapon- we definitely don't know what weapon Abelas himself was wielding. I think common consensus seems to be that they're some kind of arcane warrior, but as for what he uses- up to fan interpretation. I like the duel swords, personally, just because it's unique in Inquisition, after they retconned it from previous games. Okay, the rest I will get to when I'm not rushing about.

Well since this clique thing is kicking in and as was mentioned, certain people are looking out for friends' artwork, I just thought I'd point out some of your friends, one of, whoever, was doing the same thing to this other artist. Maybe recognizing that, people can lay off when others critique in a discussion.

 

Anyway, I like you, rabbit. I like Liz and Nikki and all the rest. So for peace sake, I'm going to drop it so you guys can get back to enjoying your thread, as I've said my piece. I just hope people will have a little more self awareness in the future. That's all I have to say. Peace, you guys.

Well thank you Solas thread for coming in and policing us. I'm sure we have all learned a valuable lesson. On that happy note, I will make sure to take an extra big chunk out of my Easter egg and think of Solas's bald head while I do it. 

 

As for tumblr... I'm just glad I don't have an account.

very lucky. I've experienced deep tumblr a month ago and every stereotype you hear is true. Of the 6 years i've been on tumblr, I only realized that now. Now it's my trash tv because it's horrifying but you can't look away.

 

I can't wait tomorrow, I heard somebody gets revived.

I want to fantasize a 10 minute character just like I wanted to make nightmare demon desired. It's kind of like making OCs. fun, right? Also, Addai made a good point that the abelas waifu pillow needs to be made.

I admit, I lol'd at your comment. Any discussion of a character's sexuality always makes me shake my head because people just cannot remove themselves from such a personal topic. If ever there is projection on a character, it's over sexuality if it's not explicitly represented.

What if the ancient elves didn't reproduce sexually, which is why kieran was like "why do you chose to look like that?" Why have those things? Are they part spirit? can spirits reproduce asexually? like grab wisps from their body gradually to form another spirit?
