I have two shots here. Best way to get an idea of the height is to take Dorian into the temple and get him as close as possible to one of the other sentinels or when you are fighting Calpernia or Samson have him stand next to the fighting sentinel. They all share the same body model. Heads are dynamically thrown on once the game starts. I know this from looking into the DAI tools.
From what I saw they are the same height. Lavellan is of course much shorter. As is Solas which makes me wonder if he can change his form otherwise wouldn't he be the same height?
How tall is Dorian? I'm so weirded out by elves who aren't just little short bundles of fury.

Iron Bull is definitely taller. I think it's a reasonable assumption that Dorian is about 6 feet +/- a couple inches.
Well thank you Solas thread for coming in and policing us. I'm sure we have all learned a valuable lesson. On that happy note, I will make sure to take an extra big chunk out of my Easter egg and think of Solas's bald head while I do it.

I'm not "Solas thread," jeezus. This is an open forum. If people here had applied half of the lectures I got on how cool it is to have different views of characters to themselves, a two line throwaway comment wouldn't have been so bothersome. The ferocity has been truly impressive, though.

I took an existing People -- the Avari (elves who did not sail to Valinor) -- and adapted Abelas to fit the verse. So now, I have the opportunity to interact with blogs from the Lord of the Rings or Silmarillion fandoms.

Oh wait. Because he actually did the very very bad thing. Several of them, in fact 
He makes Fen'Harel's decisions look responsible, cautious, and extremely well thought-out.
I'm still not convinced about this whole same model as abelas thing. Might dig through files when not lazy.
Agreed here, their bodies might be similar, but their facial features are very different to me still. Which is good, we wouldn't want all elves to look alike, would we now?

I was very happy to see that you had done so. It brought back many good memories as well as a reminder the Silmarillion fandom still exists. The Silmarillion started my strange fanfiction writing endeavor. It was the best of times, it was the worst of time, it was the age of silliness and many naked Feanorians. I would be interested in knowing what sort of reception you have received from the SIlmarillion community. There were and maybe still are some incredibly nice individuals who would welcome you with open arms and then there are the elitists who will tell you no elf outside of Tolkien exists. 
It's just an unfortunate individual with pointy ear syndrome. You ignore those people and run away as fast as you can. I do hope they treat you well. I made several life long friends during my ten years of writing Sil fic, but I stopped when my closest writing friend died. It was never the same after.

It would be great if the elven pantheon turned out to be like Feanor in company. Yes! LoL his family does make Solas seem like a very responsible person who did the right thing by locking them away. Saying that though, if Maedhros/Maitimo is behind that mirror I'm breaking it open.
No I'd be happy if they all looked like Abelas. But I concede! It isn't the same model!!! Wish I'd never said anything.

because that what everybody wants. it's a natural reaction. god him and zevran, traveling buddies. so hilarious. also kind of sweet because zev is insanely loyal with people he cares about. i also see zevran as some sort of insane ringmaster/carnival barker(i don't know where my mind is today) - he throws his arm around abelas and dramatically points to the horizon, "My friend, I will show you wonders you haven't even dreamed of."
