Could totally see Abelas and his bros eating a few magic mushrooms and passing around that special elfroot before heading off back to sleep. Mythal used to be their supplier 'till she got taken out by the competition. Solas and all that fade talk. Yeah, if that isn't some hallucinogenic writing going on I don't know what it is. It's the fade man.

The Faaaaaade, man! The name does lend itself to ancient stoner speak, as well as sounding like a euphemism for hallucinatory frolicking. Somehow I can picture Abelas as a bouncer for one of Mythal's eexclusive parties.

Thinking about it. Yeah, Solas high the whole time he was helping Inky makes me understand his character a whole helluva lot more. Ya know Abelas was all like get out of my temple and stuff cause we busted up his party right? They thought we were the elfroot guy.

If that's the bong water, the actual stuff must be amaaaaaazing.  Now I'm imagining a conversation between Falon'Din and Solas when Falon'Din returns as the ultimate villain in a shower of glittery glory:

 

Falon'Din: Your love of the elfroot has clearly slowed your mind.

Solas: Dude.  DUUUUUDE.  That's just, like, your opinion, man.

Falon'Din: ...

Solas:  I can see the FAAAADE.

Falon'Din: I haven't had a smoke in thousands of years thanks to you, jerkface.  The least you could do is pass the pipe.

 

And thus glitter-pocalypse was averted by the power of elfroot.

I would hope the term "sausage fest" is banned from the Temple of Mythal. It has gross connotations. And let's not forget my favorite sentinel--the old lady and her ponderous tome. She is the best elf.

She looks like she could keep the boys in line when they got a little crazy.  She's also freaking gorgeous and those furs are an excellent implied threat to Solas should he step out of line.

Think they wear wigs at this party just to change it up? Can't decide if Abelas would go for the 'fro or surfer dude wig. Solas would go for Einstein wig or maybe dreads. I can see him in dreads.
