[Babelas]

Recent excavation work in the Arbor Wilds have revealed some interesting finds. They are almost certain these items belonged to the one who called himself Abelas.

 

First, there was an assortment of odd drinking vessels found near what appeared to be a very big well full of a steaming brown liquid.

 

   

 

And finally an odd assortment of discarded clothing. It looks as if the sentinels were in a hurry to depart.

 

  

 

 

This was strangely fun to do. No, really, I am on break!

I think "Venavis" must have been the elven translation of my grumbles after I wake up and before I had my morning coffee 

Or maybe "Venavis" means coffee. Maybe he thinks that Inky and her/his companions are the ones who are responsible for serving the morning coffee for the sentinels and that's why he says "Venavis" because he wants to inform you that he wants his coffee. Of course he then realizes that you aren't actually the ones who serve the coffee and that makes him even more grumbier. One other reason could be that the temple has run out of coffee and he is waiting his coffee delivery and he thinks that you are the one who is delivering the coffee or maybe Abelas drinks only some special coffee and he is waiting for his special coffee delivery and then he thinks that you are the one who is delivering it to him.

 

I wonder what kind of coffee Abelas likes. I think espresso because it's strong and quite simple. I mean there aren't any whipped cream on top of it. Allthough the idea of Abelas drinking espresso with whipped cream and sprinkels might not be too far-fetched because I can imagine him doing that

 

 

I know I'm supposed to be taking a break from the forum but the comments have been priceless. Vorathad and SilentShadows, you two are comedy gold. I always believed that when Abelas says Mythal sulevin, he was basically saying there was certainty in Mythal or Mythal is certainty, like his final prayer. A great compliment. That's my guess. Okay sorry! Back to break time.

If Abelas and the sentinels would form a band they could name it  "The coffee makers" and they could have songs like "Espresso, I want you.", "Before coffee" or "Spilled cappuccino". If they would name their band to "Servants of Mythal" they could have songs like "Would you like to brake my chains?" or "I can't get away".

 

I think Abelas could also write a book after he has left the Temple. There are many topics which he could write his book about such as "How to worship a goddess" where he could explain how to worship properly or "After the failure" where he could share his feelings and experiences on how to survive from a failure. He could also write about the ancient times in his book "The fall of Arlathan and how I remember it" or he could write a book about his search for a goddess and it could be called "Searching my goddess".

I'm seeing Abelas as the Vampire Lestat to Solas' Louis. Once he has his coffee, he's going to go out there and rock Thedas. If we're lucky, he'll make it his mission to rescue all the kitchen gingers and surround himself with gorgeous crazy redheads.

The Kitchen Gingers (best name for alternative rock band ever) is going to be the opening for Shiny Happy Sentinels. I so bought tickets. This thread  is dangerous to read while drinking tea.  

 

 

 

 

No... I really don't know what is wrong with me or why I do these things. Rock on Abelas. Someone needs to do Kitchen Ginger album art now. Someone with better artistic skills than me.

Have we been talking about what kind of sports sentinels are interested in? Because for some reason I have been thinking that they like to play basket ball and I have no idea where that thought came from.

 

Maybe Abelas also likes aerobics and dancing. *imagines Abelas and the sentinels dancing Britney Spears' I'm a Slave 4 U" I wish I could draw

I totally see Abelas leading a spinning class to the sentinels; all those thighs in tights? GIMME MORE   (Also Thighs In Tights is where Abelas sings between Shiny Happy Sentinels tours, giving in to his crooner sensibilities)

 

I also see them playing baseball, and every time one of them bats the ball out of the temple they have to go out and fight outsiders to recover it.
