[Abelas Forever!]

I could imagine that sentinels played baseball with a golden ball. No wonder that outsiders wanted to invade the temple

 

Playing baseball when Mythal was still around:

 

Mythal: "Abelas! Can you explain why there is a dent in my statue?"

Abelas: "Forgive me. I thought it was a good idea to play baseball inside the temple as  part of our daily exercise and.. Well there was an accident with the ball and the statue.."

Mythal: "That has to stop! I can't let you destroy my temple. What were you thinking?"

Abelas: "I thought baseball was a good way to improve our accuracy. We could train without our shirts which increased our agility as well."

Mythal: "Did you say without shirts?"

Abelas: "Yes. Playing baseball without shirts increases our agility tremendously."

Mythal. "Hmm. If you say so but next time I need to be there so that I can  judge that for myself."

Abelas: "Understood."

Do not forget to include Dorian and the Donuts for Mythalchella. This calls for more album art

And that is why Mythal is my favorite Elvhen goddess. She was not only extremely powerful but I suspect she handpicked her sentinels. Something to look at while bored on the throne?

Mythal: "I have decided that you will organize a wrestling contest for all sentinels."

Abelas: "Very well. When do you wish to see this event?"

Mythal: "Today. After dinner."

Abelas: "I'll see to it."

All these talks about sentinels and how they exercise makes me want to see them without their shirts. Please make it happen! It could have been common in Elven empire to train without shirts

If I could draw I would draw Abelas stretching without a shirt, Abelas admiring himself without a shirt, Abelas oiling himself without a shirt... I mean if he is going to wrestle then he will have to oil himself...

Or maybe he goes swimming in a river to get rid of that oil or there is a spa in the temple where he can relax in a hot tub after wrestling...

I wonder whether those fans fight over who will have to honour to massage him or do they have queuing system where they patiently wait for their turn to massage him.

Hopefully if you spared the Sentinels, we can get an Abelas cameo in the DLC.  Probably not, but one can hope.

Was just watching the leaked trailer for the new dlc Tresspassor and saw the ghostly shape of sentinels about a minute into it.

It was at 1:12 looked like Abelas's outline. So excited now!

I was so HYPED when I saw the Abelas-like figure at the trailer. Never mind Morrigan's murderknife, let there be moar thighs!

I'm thinking he could be in the mix. The sentinels look very glowy. I think they are in the Fade? Maybe even if he was killed by Morrigan he continues to live on in the Fade. I'm cheering for the thighs.

Maybe the scene isn't complete and afterwards they become "material" and we see The Thighs in all their shiny glory! But even if it's fade!Abelas I'll be more than happy to see him again (and hear him, DAT voice)

I'm so excited because finally the DLC which I have been waiting for is coming but I'm also sad because now the story ends and I'm terrified to see Solas again because I fear that there isn't a way to get him back! But then there are those thighs! *cough* I mean sentinels and if there are sentinels then hopefully Abelas too!

 

I was thinking the same thing as Vorathrad that the sentinels migh materialize. Maybe they can go to Fade and come back. When they come back from the Fade it takes them some time to materialize. If they can do that it might be that they can't be killed in their material form

I have this strange hope that they show up at Skyhold and help Inky. It probably won't happen that way but it would be so awesome if they did. The other thing that came to mind is that I am wondering if they are protecting Solas? They are standing at the entrance to an eluvian so... could be they have hooked up with the DW. The reason I think one of them is Abelas is because there is a shot of a group of them and then there is one on his own. Thinking that might be him since he was a mage and that sentinel looks like a mage.

I believe that sentinels are hooked up with Solas because I have a feeling that they are I suspect that Mythal's and Solas' primary goal was the same and because they had that goal then it makes sense that the sentinels will help Solas to achieve it even though Solas killed Mythal. I think it could be possible that the sentinels would undertand his reasons to kill her. The other possibility is that they are now bound to Solas and their opinions doesn't matter or Solas hasn't told them what he did.

 

When I saw the trailer for the first time I only saw that sentinel with that huge hammer and then I became so excited of it because that means that Abelas must be there too or at least there is a good chance that he is there too.

 

First there is a group of sentinels. Then 2 of the sentinels are shown separately. I think the first one of them is Abelas because the other one has hammer or what ever that huge weapon is called.

It's a maul or big hitty thing works just as well That one I saw on his own is actually carrying a bow. What I did notice is that Solas is wearing the same cloak as the sentinels complete with torn bottom. He borrowed his fashion sense from Abelas? LoL. Good choice sir. Those are either Solas's own personal sentinels or Mythal's sentinels. In one shot they look like they are standing on the battlements of Skyhold with the sandbags. In other shots they are in a temple. It could be they are bound to Solas but I suspect if Solas and Flemythal had the same goals they would serve him willingly or at least help him. It reminds me of the conversation Solas had with Abelas at the well right before Abelas departed. That cryptic elvish conversation was probably something along the lines of: 'My temple is your temple especially if you will protect me from a very angry small elven woman and her friends.'
