I just have to say that I don't mind his nose at all.  (This could be because I've been crushing on Journey's Steve Perry forever.)

 

I do mind the baldness, though.  I remember Mr. Weekes saying something about Solas willing his head to be shaved?  Like his spirit self controls his (lack of) hair?  Maybe Abelas has the same ability.

It's weird because bald is something that I was always sort of meh on.  But everyone in my boyfriend's family goes thin to eventually balding, and he's already starting to lose some hair.  But because it's him, and I love him, I increasingly find it cute.

Its cool I gotcha. His hair in fanart gives me life! I think he would get more love if came back  with hair. I think some people would be judgmental of him if he showed up bald which is sad. I could hear people complaining "oh! look its a solas clone!"

Look it's obvious the Elvhen are kinky. They have had an eternity in a place where the only limit is imagination to come up with major hardcore sexual shenanigans. Abelas would be a pro at ummm errrrrr doing wicked naughty things. With or without the chain mail.

 

I do not for one second think something as smexy as Abe could be without his tools. I highly suspect padding in all the right places and a good dose of magical lubrication... just sayin'

 

My husband has been going bald since 20. It doesn't bother me plus I used to have a huge crush on Patrick Stewart... I'm good with bald but I would prefer Abelas with a braid simply because it's good for pulling    They could easily give him some hair in DA4. It wouldn't have to be long though... I do like how he is drawn with long hair. It's romantic. 

 

If anyone ever calls our bae a Solas clone I will give them a verbal slapping. No offense to anyone. I just hate it when people lump the two together and so do many solasmancers. One rubbed knee caps with the upper echelon of the Elvhen. The other probably considers himself lucky to have been serving nicest member of the pantheon. 

 

SS is still worried about that chain mail. I just know it.   You know chain mail comes off faster than full armor SS... just keep that in mind.

Did I hear Patrick Stewart? I loooove Patrick Stewart. My husband tires of hearing how sexy he is when we watch TNG. He was my first tv crush!

I like bald men. Don't tell my husband as he has a full head of hair which I love as well. When Solas was first shown everyone complained. I thought he was cute and loved his lips! Hated the original underwear looking pants they had him in, though. Glad that was changed. So, bald big nosed Abelas is beautiful to me!

I have him in Dalish Warrior armor right now but I'll put him in that lovely Sentinel armor once I can get the schematic in Val Royeaux.  Also I'm going to let him wear that golden armor to the Winter Palace.

I know you can get the armor itself from a war table mission.  I wondered if and where you could get the schematic for it.  I've also heard that the armor you get from the war table is light armor, but the schematic may be heavy armor?  Maybe there are different kinds?

That's because it's new with Trespasser.  it's the mission where you investigate the Well of Sorrows.  Apparently you get a set of the armor.

 

But I want the schematic... without cheats.

Tielis I like your Inky.. he is all kinds of smexy. That hair style would suits Abelas. It was one of the better ones to choose from.

Hehehe that was an awesome find in Trespasser. But there is something I don't understand. So... could the Elvhen lose their physical form? That seems to suggest it, if it is speaking of the Elvhen, which I assume it is about their ummm habits. I mean how does that work? No not the bird and bees part (I know that's what you are all thinking. You need Andraste damn it) So were the Elvhen born physically and then eventually they learned to change into spirits? Someone help before I hurt myself.

Abelas really loves kitchen gingers. Something to do with ample supplies of honey and coffee in the kitchen...

 

 

Last night I finished off some of my Adaar pt and I chose the option at the well 'enough' It's basically a way to tell Morrigan to STFU and stop being so f*cking rude to his Royal Thighness. For whatever reason I had not chosen this before. Abelas's expression is priceless. He's like: Dem Shems be crazy b*tches. I liiiiiiiike it. 

 

Seriously, if you haven't seen this you have to see it. He just looks so confused... or secretly amused. I'm not sure. But it was kind of sad too because I don't think he is used to someone defending him. My female Adaar wanted to lift him from the ground and give him a big hug. He's pitiful really. The whole scene is sad.

Yes.  Hopefully BioWare will patch the schematics in at some point for those who don't want to or can't use mods.

I think he'll go after Cass, but if she becomes Divine I guess maybe he'll break up with her?  I've never played through as a guy before, we'll have to see.    Will make a note to myself to take screenshots of blinding people at Halamshiral with his shiny golden self.

 

Solas does often mention the Inquisitor's spirit, and Cole mentions that it is an exceedingly bright one, but we don't know if that's due to the anchor or not.  And yes, the thought that a relationship with an Elvhen could be so incredibly deep makes me swoon.

I think I figured out some of the Elvhen spirity thingy forms.  I think they were originally spirits like Cole. They were the maker's first children if that helps. Then they evolved, like Cole can. I think it was a natural evolution and they began to live on the earth because there was no veil. Some of them took physical form.

 

 

And I think the reason is that a portion of the Elvhen were living in their original state and the others were taking physical form and becoming more real as it were. I think when Solas say to Cole he never thought to see it... it's because for the Elvhen it happened over a long time. Cole is like the gifted spirit child. He did something that took thousands of years probably in like two years. Maybe it was sped up because he was living outside of the Fade. I don't pretend to understand Cole for a second. So you've got the Fade spirit Elvhen originals and the physical Elvhen. That makes sense to me. It also very much explains why when an elf and human get together they have a human child. Elvhen are magical spiritual beings by nature. I bet if Cole had a child with an elf the baby would be an elf. It's all quite beautiful really. Makes me understand how much they lost. It also makes me realize Abelas was probably born physical. Have to remember that Solas has been around a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time.  I think that passage referring to the two Elvhen getting it on was two spirtual Elvhen that hadn't evolved to purely physical. See, I think if Cole become more human he can't go back to spirit. He's solid now.
