I know it's already been said, but Knight-Enchanter is way too good

I play on the lowest difficulty settings, can't go lower, it's set to easiest - but fights still take too long... so nerf it even more? Lower our DPS even more? Maybe make highest difficulty that way, I don't care, but the lowest is annoying enough as it is.

*snip*

I'll never agree with nerfs in a SINGLE PLAYER game though unless they are abilities one shotting bosses when combined or something to that extent.  If players wanna feel strong in an RPG let them feel strong. If you don't wanna feel strong, play a different class. That's my stance on it.

NERF ALL THE THINGS!

Exactly (also rest of your post, just snipped it to save space :P ), and there is such an ability. Sera (a npc mind you... I imagine on PC the ability is far more powerful) one shotted the Lyrium Dragon in final boss fight. Just like that. *Pew*... dragon dead... lol (well technically 48 pew pew.... o_O ). That is OP lol...

Should also add that if you truly wanted to feel challenged on Nightmare, you'd play the weakest class combo in the game to try and beat it. Not one that's top 4

+1. I'm not convinced most of the 'NERF ALL THE THINGS' crowd put much thought into it when they start screaming about OPness. Pick up a class that you press one button and everything explodes? OP. Create an interlocking set of skills, class and tactics that synergise perfectly? Potentially OP, but the simple fact the game becomes easier isn't evidence of that, the defining factor would be whether it compares with other combos. People screaming about wanting a challenge then picking one the strongest combos in the game are frankly looking for reasons to whine.

As I said, it's a multiplayer mentality in a single player. The dragon doesn't care if you solo it.

If anything needed, bioware need to buff rift mages and necromancer. They basically useless especially necromancer.

It not because KE too good, it because other specialize too suck.

And this is dragon age not diablo, no need to nerf it. It's like you asking bethesda to nerf smithing because you feel create 600 damage sword is too much. Well... don't create it then.

Everyone is talking about Knight-Enchanter, but what about Warriors. It's quite easy to build guard no matter the specialisation (or even without one), makes you just as invincible.

This is asking for a nerf, plain and simple. This will end up like ME3 multiplayer, anyone makes a thread about "X build is op pls nerf nao!" and Bw will nerf it to the ground.

I'm on hard and I don't feel like it's OP. I'd suggest taking in consideration the highest difficulty level plus friendly fire on, if anyone starts thinking this or that build is OP

@OP- Rather than nerfing (which is common practice for all developers), why not buff the other two specs to be on-par? Just because something is doing exceedingly well at it's intended niche, does not mean that it's imbalanced; it just means that they designed the class in such a way that it would be able to perform it's intended role at any difficulty. Both Rift Mage and Necromancer have their own niches, and the devs can just work towards improving their strengths to get them on-par with the KE (in terms of viability).
