Good idea!! but... What will happen when sales figures are released showing they are actually good.. and when the eleven of them find out the world actually doesn't revolve around them or their need to play Origins2

My ideal Bioware game is sonic chronicles 2 actually

DA:I retail sales in Europe have cratered and are failing to even chart in most European countries.

Week 49    Week 50

"Hold right trigger to win" action games don't seem to sell so well as it seems. :(

Er... the decisions you make are created by BioWare. You cannot do anything that isn't accounted for by the developers.

This is patently false.

No matter what you do, you always have to complete the story and the focal point of the ending is always the same.

So is this.

You'll probably get Dragon Age 4, but given how Bioware seems to work - don't count on them holding to anything DAI does well. Out with the bathwater it goes.

Disappointed to see those figures - the game deserves better.

Hi!

More than the first week sales, I was more interested in the drop week to week. It seems to be quite a sharp one, might be even worse than DA2 week to week drops. Given that most games seem to sell most of their units in the first two weeks after release, it's looking pretty grim. It would mean DAI needs to buck that trend and actually rebound after nearly one month of its release. I don't remember a lot of games being capable of doing that.

Is it just me or are some people here trying to get some sort of satisfaction by constantly searching reports and "proof" that the game selling poorly? What's there to gain? Shouldn't it be the other way around? You know, hoping that this game sells well so we can get more games in the series?

Nah it's like the me3 people. Game not doing well validates their opinion. They ended up being wrong too lol.

But yea Euro sales disappointing for consoles. Still wouldn't change my overall picture da was always going to be a slow burner.

It is because they are rooting for it to fail. So they can come in and say I told you so. I guess it makes them feel superior, or something. I dunno why.

Isn't it reasonable to assume that with PC sales the game would've cracked the top ten after being on the market for half the month? So what's the big deal exactly? The GOTYs rolling in will just boost sales.

I simply didn't like the direction DA:I took and while I wouldn't say that the is game bad I certainly enjoyed it far less than Origins or even DA2.

If sales are well below expectations they'll have to reconsider the future of Dragon Age as a TES wannabe, so I'm all for it.

Doesn't work that way in the real world.

Are you sure? Based on the information in the references you give you can't actually draw the conclusion you do. Think about it.

In case y'all didn't notice the last billion times someone mentioned it...CHART POSITION DOES NOT MATTER.

The only thing that matters is how the sales perform according to EA and BioWare expectations. Thus far, the only indication we've had from anyone with access to full numbers, including digital (which isn't tracked by any of the charts), is that the game is tracking above expectations.

Chill out. Dlux, go find someone else's board to troll. Who in their right mind wishes for an entire company to go under because you don't like one product?

Or maybe we won't get a next DA?

Seeing how the franchise gets worse with each game (imho) I'd be glad if EA pulled another Dead Space.

I wouldn't want to see BW losing too much talent though.

was already wondering when the troll would crawl out again and here you are..

someone who doesn'T have anything better to do in life than to post how well a game sold he didn't like (repeatedly this is like your 20th post in this thread or even more) and who wants Bioware to fail..

wish someone would ban this user

Lol, right? For a guy who doesn't like grinding, that's pretty much all he's done in this thread. Keep chipping away, dlux! Maybe you can will the game to go away!

Meantime, this seems like a good time to remind everyone that the game, according to the one person in this thread who'd know, is actually selling well.

Seeing how the franchise gets worse with each game, works for me, same as Dead Space.

You know, you could just not play the game if you don't like it instead of wishing failure upon the game and its developers. If a DA4 gets made, you don't have to play it if you don't think it is something you'll enjoy. You don't even have to follow its development.
