Origins which flopped.
Source?
Oh, the only source you have is that EA sold 3.2 million copies in 3 months and received revenue for each and every unit. Wow, that would explain why EA didn't can Origins and made sequels, it was a huge hit.

Yet Inquisitions still sold more at launch. Says something about those charts of yours...
DA:I only did well on launch, no mention if overall sales were very good like Bioware's previous games. Probably because they weren't any good.

Oh that's right, you have no source. Merely a statement where EA dodged mentioning sale figures.
3.2 million copies in 3 months and received revenue for each and every unit.
Shipped 3.2 million copies in 3 months, which is far fewer copies than ME3, which in turn had a less successful launch than Inquisition.
Wow, that would explain why EA didn't can Origins and made sequels, it was a huge hit.
Wow, that would explain why they canned the Origins formula for the sequels and turned DA into a semi-action game. Because Origins flopped.

They mentioned more than Origins, where EA didn't touch on sales at all...

DA:I failed to chart, which is why this thread exists. ME3 sold very well in the frist week and charts reflected upon this.

ME3 charted because it released in March. And thank you for saying ME3 sold very well, because Inquisitions outsold ME3 therefore...

Already answered. Now we are going in circles.
Later, Mr. White Knight. Pray to the EA gods that they make a sequel to a game that sells badly.

They did that already. The sequel's name is DA2

You aren't really taking into account the time of year (March). What was ME3's competition? It wasn't exactly up against the big hitters of the year at the biggest selling time of the calendar year. DAI was competing with the biggest franchises in gaming at THE time when people go out and buy games as gifts (hence how well family/children's games also sold because parents like myself buy games like Lego and Minecraft for their kids ...)
Crikey! This troll's been riding the same snack wagon for months now! ![]()
We hear from EA that "it quickly became the most successful launch in BioWare™ history in addition to being named to more than 200 “Game of the Year” lists" and he still thinks it's a flop?? hah!
"You've gotta pay the troll toll..." etc. etc.
It was reported to do extremely well at launch in the financial report which covered the period shortly after launch. It doesn't say or indicate anything about how well it performed afterwards as it goes beyond the scope of the report, so the "only" here is a blind presumption at this stage. You even recognize it yourself with that "probably".DA:I only did well on launch, no mention if overall sales were very good like Bioware's previous games. Probably because they weren't any good.
The reception is mixed. Check out Metacritic or even Neogaf, a lot of the gamers hate the game. No idea how this drivel got so many GOTY awards when I see how many people hate the game.
Speaking as someone who is actually a member of NeoGAF, you're delusional. It placed 4th on the GOTY list behind Bayonetta 2, Mario Kart, and Smash Bros. It was well-received.

does it mean DA4 will be influenced by Mario Kart? great, can't wait
Only on Metacritic is Inquisition not well received.
And here, evidently.

From early sneak previews,
ME4 has certainly been influenced by Mario Kart ![]()

Dragon Age Karting.
That could work...

Just imagine Nug drawn Chariots and I think we're on to a winner. This game developing malarkey isn't as hard as it's cracked up to be.

I am not even kidding when I say that a racing game that's basically a competitive version of the car chase sequence from Lair of the Shadow Broker would get all my moneys.
