Hi guys - obviously it's a drag not to see DAI on that top 10 list for November. I can't really give any figures of course...However, from what I know about the sales numbers (a) DAI is doing great and well ahead of it's predecessors, and a significant percentage of sales of DAI are digital and not tracked by NPD. If anything, I'm more worried about the weird signals this chart sends to the market about DAI, as opposed to the reality of our unit sales
If true, this is reassuring to hear.
PC numbers weren't mentioned in the NeoGaf post, which most likely means they haven't been calculated by NDP.
NPD tracks physical retail sales for PC.
I don't know why they weren't included in the leaked numbers, however. Those numbers are confidential, so you're at the mercy of whoever decides to leak them.
This entire thread is pointless. The data support no conclusions.
That's not true.
The conclusion supported is that DAI did not outsell any of the titles on the list in the formats tracked (US physical retail for all platforms).
Not coincidentally, that's what the numbers claim to represent.
I don't know if it flopped commercially but it created DA2 and ME3 levels of hate with people declaring Bioware dead as a brand.
Every BioWare game does that, though.
I think NWN was successful, but BioWare was still at a dead end with the D&D license.
