So I've completed Dennets "Horses for the Inquisition quest" the "Master Of Horses" quest, did all that helping around the farm, and I've moved into SkyHold. I've gone a good 30+ hours of the game with the same boring old horse. I'm aware next to the stables in Skyhold there is a sign that acts as a merchant where you can buy new mounts, but it won't let me activate it. It doesn't even have an activate sign above it. It shows up on the mini map as a merchant post, but I can't interact with it. Please tell me this isn't a bug, cuz if it is I'll be supremely butthurt :/

I hate to say it but that does sound like a bug you should be able to buy from there, there are a few other mounts you can get through quests though hopefully they'll show up.

That sounds like a bug, you should be able to buy at least one extra horse from that post thing immediately after getting the horse master in Skyhold and more horses and Harts should open up as you progress. Outside of that post there's always the dracolisk you can get through a wartable quest or the giant nug thing from the shopkeeper that sells one expensive item on the upper level of Val Royeaux.

It's not bugged, you haven't done all that is required to get him to sell to you.  Go back and speak to him.

Uuuuugh, that's just great. My games bugged now I gotta ride that boring looking horse from Zelda for the rest of the game. My only hope now is to go kill that High Dragon and see if I can get the Dracolisk mounts :/

Dennet can be hard to find for the last step of recruiting him.
