This game is missing a huge roleplaying aspect.

Yeah the only thing I never liked about that quest was they put a mosaic tile in the tomb, I mean come on guys! So if I'm a dalish elf I have to desecrate a burial site of my own people if I want to complete the mosaic's? Where's my option of asking the Keeper if I can pay my respects to the dead inside the tomb and him giving me a key.

I was actually mildly pleased there was this type of reactivity.

Then again, anyone bothered to try this after the Dalish agent was recruited? Would not be surprised if the Hahren wouldn't notice at all, then.

Yeah all I had to do was wait until I completed his quest to clear the spirits from the burial site. If you immediately go back afterwards and dig up the key parts he seems to have no issues with you at all.

It's just the point of the whole thing role play wise, I would rather have a way to complete my collections without disrespecting the ancestors of my people. Hell even if they have just moved the mosaic piece to outside the tomb in the ruins nearby that would be better.

Why? Why do you have to have the mosaic IG? There is a price to pay for collecting it. Why should you have a safe way of obtaining it?
I personally much preferred if the clan would turn on you despite already obtaining approval. I much preffered if you lost the already gained agent for it.
Many of my inquisitors are not into digging up graves unnecessarily. There are enough corpses around. So they don't get the mosaic, but RP wise, they have so many better things to do then desacrating graves out of hope there is *something* in them aside of bones.

Because all of the other ones don't require it? How about we toss a mosaic tile in the crypt of some dead chantry folk and see how your noble human inquisitor feels about digging up their graves to complete their collections. Maybe we should give one to a helpless beggar and make the only means of obtaining it to murder him and loot his corpse for it, and toss in a greatly disapproves from everyone.

There are other mosaics in graves, if you chose to disturb them. It is up to you. It is a decision you make.
There is nothing earth shaking happening if you don't dig up the grave. There should be feedback if you do.

Makes me wish there was a grave robber achievement. Maybe the icon could be a hand reaching down to grasp a skull with a diamond superimposed on it.

Can you list some examples? I haven't found them all but I don't remember any others requiring you to go to lengths like the one in the elvan tomb.

I always forget the names of locations, there is this huge sand filled area with Venatori, where you can free the slaves and give them some other sort of work? The Venatori are digging up old dwarven graves. The mosaics of the area are all in the graves you must open via a mechanism. There is some narrative about the origins of the graves too.

Of course the area itself is pretty large and quite void of life, considering what it is, it is quite natural though.

It was posted in another forum that the nobility perk will unlock a specific dialogue option that may allow you to screw the guy over without him getting killed, and still netting approval. I'll have to try this out when I get to it.

I pretty much conscripted his entire holdings.  Must have been a result of having the right perk then.

erm look up Sulla before you make that statement who executed all who could be a threat, friend or foe, and died an old, old man.  Look up Ivan the Terrible (who murdered his own children).

Sulla was also widely hated by everyone.  They just couldn't do anything about it.  He was made dictator because they thought he was one of them and able to oppose Marius' essentially plebian revolt.  And they approved of the first wave of Subscriptions because they thought they were aimed at traitors.

And then they realized he hated them as much as anyone else and it was a bit too late.

exactly, then he rode out of town on a donkey, while pissed as a lord and snogging his gay lover, while surrounded by prostitutes and actors/actresses with a marching party band, to go and get very drunk for the rest of his life, in a huge villa.   That has to win style points.

Tho I admit that may be apocryphal, it is awesome enough I knida wish it had happened.
