Its not hard to get. Just find some Silverite, get right next to it, save the game, then pick up the Silverite. If its not Fade-molested then just load, pick up, and repeat till it is.

Yeah I know the feeling. I kept saving/reloading trying to get the guard on hit and kept getting the other one. I think I got 5 fade touched silverites before I got it. Might have been really unlucky, or maybe the odds are not 50/50 between the two.
