I thought they said they'd need a whole new UI to accomplish this?

Well, they'd want to have a way to allow the player to make a choice, they couldn't just ask them to mess with game files.  So it would need some sort of UI, unless pehaps they simply erased the skyhold clothes from the game.

And they'd probably worry about different armours potentially having clipping issues.

Plenty of people are using Cheat Engine. As long as it's not a multiplayer cheat, Bioware don't seem to care.

Seen lots of cheaters in ME3 MP lately. Bioware doesnt care at all.

Can this be used while still connected to the servers? I want those achieves :) Wont get us banned or anything like that aye?

I'm connected and am using cheat engine. I don't think they care if you only use it for single player. Cheats and mods are just mainstays of PC single player gaming, they know that.

No you wont get banned but just to be on the safe side never use cheat engine while playing multiplayer. However you'll be fine using it while connected as long as you're on singleplayer.

I dont care that you sealed the Rift and saved the world.

Your beage Pajamas are offensive to Nugs.

Don't need to wear beige anymore, we have a mod tool for that :) Check out in our Mod Tools group (this is different than using Cheat Engine)

In fairness to Bioware, if they do anything it has to be perfect and free otherwise people will QQ.

AS opposed to us modders that people know we are working with very limited resources and creating our own tools from scratch, so folks appreciate what we do even if we don't achieve instant perfection.

I don't actively hate the inhouse "pajamas" but seeing the Inquisitors featured here in their actual armor, it does make me scratch my head over the choice to strip you out of your gear while at your home base? Modding the armors make the character look more authoritarian!

If the player wanted to look more relaxed by wearing the default Skyhold duds that would be one thing, so given that Bioware basically didn't allow for this choice fries the brain/

I will have to install this quick smart when I get home. Play through #1 I could almost ignore the PJ's of shame as the PC was a well rounded human female.

My tiny dalish elf on the other hand just looks awful in them, it is time for me to put my foot down over her questionable fashion choices.

If bioware wants me to wear PJs around skyhold then fine, but I would like to see everyone else (josie, cullen, lei) wearing them too ;)

I honestly think it's nice not to be wearing my usual armor at "home" in Skyhold.  However they should have more casual clothing options while in Skyhold --- just like Mass Effect 3 has a bunch of options.

What I wish is that I could have the option of showing helmet on my Qunari since it's face paint while keeping helmets off my companions.

It's kind of ridiculous that fans could get this taken care of before BioWare could.

Why would you want to? You're suppose to be relaxing in the Skyhold, not in full battle armor.

Because Haven taught us all so well that we should relax while at our home base, right? ;)

And not all of us play characters that would be inclined to hang out in their street clothes outside of sleeping.

I agree with this 1000x, I think we need more options for casual clothing but I think it's great that we are wearing casual clothing around our home base.

An option to toggle Hide/Show armor would work for those that want to use causal clothing for Skyhold.  There should be more varieties than beige, sure, but there should be an armor option.  You want the causal clothes, click "Hide" on an armor visibility toggle.   Simple enough, and I honestly think everyone would actually be happy that way.

Thank ... goodness! This is how I felt everytime I was in Skyhold wearing those bland, grey pyjamas:

7AbXMjZ.gif

They claim to offer us nearly unlimited choice and options, yet they constrict us in the places where it matters most.

It's so annoying that we have to cheat in order to get this option. I guess that note fell off the board during the "Let's not ..."-meeting before Inquisition was made.

Thank you for the tip. Now let's hope someone finds a way to toggle between walk/run and disable those annoying drums.

Nice, I want to try the color-changing one.. I don't mind the casual outfit.. as stated before I just would prefer more options to choose from (and having the ability to change the color already built into the game would be great but it seems mods already have that under control).

Hey everyone. Let's keep it civil and on topic in here.

Did a mod just necro a thread!?

Edit: I suppose there may be deleted posts that I can't see, which would explain it. Would have been pretty funny, though. And I suppose I should say something on topic, under the circumstances. I don't mind the Skyhold outfit. I would have liked some options, of course, but it didn't bother me enough to be concerned about it.

Since this has been necroed, i wish there was a way to make the inquisitor wear Morrigan's Dress from the Ball
