Unpopular opinion: I like the banter.

Banter should automatically cease if someone goes on voice chat above a certain decibel level. After the patch, I had to turn off banter because it actually increased, with the characters buggily talking over each other and repeating the same things in quick succession. I used to have it on so that I could know when they were talking so that I didn't get talked over by them when trying to communicate with teammates, but screw it, they done f***ed it up too bad now.

A grunt here or there while she's exerting herself during a fight would be one thing, but there's some pointless grunt in seemingly everything the assassin says outside of the parakeet quip.

edit: I am more irritated more by the fact that banter always stars at final doors and get interrupted by whatever they say when the next doors open. This happens every time.

Nothing wrong with the banter itself, it just needs to be toned down.. You'll see when you get your own character spaz-out and spam the same banter like 4-6 times consecutively in a row and 25 times during and operation

The best lines are coming from the Necromancer.

 

Recently heard the Hunter or Archer deliver his line about getting a dog and starting a garden. My Necro then said something like "What lofty goals for you. What's next, you're going to buy a new pair of shoes?". I LOL'd for a good few minutes. I'd never heard her dis him before. Sure I've heard her with the Assassin and the Keeper but never the others.

 

I love her dry humor, she reminds me of me.
