It's the aoe abilities. Proof: Make a mage with only single target ability, the easiest is necromancer without adding aoe damage to any of the starting spells, then tell me how you like being at the bottom. 41 will power 41 cunning won't even help if everyone is equal. Also don't take virulence, I see you trying to sneak aoe damage in there.
If any class should be nerfed it's the reaver, anytime I'm on my keeper and I sunder something a reaver just sneeze and everything is dead.
Why are people asking for balancing of classes at this point. Each class serves a purpose and they are pretty balanced as it is with some minor tweak exceptions. You should not get as many kills with a tank as a ranged class. Your reason for being in the group is pulling agro and taking damage. The first issue is that you have a 100 dps weapon. If you want to get kills on the templar class you need to run the wrath of heaven/spell purge combo as some have suggested. The wrath of heaven will do 300% weapon damage and spell purge will do 600% weapon damage when upgraded.
