Is there a way to make your inquisitor look like the Arishok?

I'm making a second playthrough with a Qunari mage and plan to make him look like the Arishok from DA2. My choices will be supporting the Templars instead of the mages and basically Kill Hawke instead of Alistair.

Now to the main question, is it possible?

Not really no. No horns or hair that looks like his. Just crappy braids and Mohawks...

I tried and failed. I think you can get close on the facial features but his eyes , his eye brows and his jaw were super hard to copy.

You can actually, aside from the horns as he has 6. I did myself on my first playthrough, but didn't screen the CC options. I'll be making a bunch of preset faces for the CC thread in the coming days, the Arishok included. So keep an eye out if you want the sliders/pics. Unless you're starting now in which case you'll have to do it yourself. It is possible though. Just use plenty of reference photos.

The qunari are ruined. :-(

No more claws.
No more dark sclera.
Shoulders are too wide.
Hair is too short
Scowl is gone.

Here I thought Bioware were going for something further away from (maybe more than) human.

It would have been more interesting if the Qunari had all the features from DA2 plus a beast like roar.Something intelligent but far from human.

Qunari are one thing they didn't need to change.

Sten looks like the guy at my deli. I wish he had Sten's sense of humor.

I agree with you, with one caveat. The general look established for the Qunari in DA 2 was perfectly fine, other than they "all" looked exactly the same. [Kossith clones?]

Bioware should have introduced a degree of variety with their Inquisition CC facial options, but instead they threw the baby out with the bathwater (just like they had done, when Sten's DA:O appearance was retconned for the next game.)

Doing something like this every time you issue a new game in the same franchise is beyond weird!!

No, not really. Iron Bull is the only exception, but most of the quanaris I've seen are pretty darn ugly. Qunaris looked really good in DA2, especially the Arishok.

MoTA has more variety of qunari, though only the speaking characters.

I'ma also a tad disappointed that the Qunari did not have a special dialogue option that was simply "No".

Oh man I totally wanted to make one like this, but I couldn't. My inquisitor still looks devilishly handsome if I do say so myself.

IB looks horrible. The best Qunari were the ones in DA2.

Or if at least we could be able to create something like the Arishok's mage son, like the one below. Problem with DAI creation is the lack of hair options and the fact the nice, mysterious eyes of Qunari was not only the iris colour but the outer blackish eyes colour.

He is a Tal-Vashoth mage character called, Arim.

He is a digital art creation by Mavrosh

Iron Bull in banter will actually comment on how great the old Arishok's horns were, I guess we're to assume he had an uncommonly magnificent set of horns.

What about Salit? The guy from DA2 Mark of the Assassin DLC.

Yeah! Salit was a really cool looking Tal-Vashoth, maybe the best. It would be impossible to recreate a character that resemble him using the current DAI character creation. The beards are awful and they don't adapt to the facial movements so in many instances during the game, they get unattached to the face like they were about to fall...well, unless your character is really fat so he would fill the gap between the breard and the face.

I find it funny how many people loved DA2's Qunari, but everyone hates DA2's Darkspawn.  I guess they can get some things right, but not everything.
