I love this game but

And those lame skyrim like conversations instead of the close up conversations like in Mass effect or previous dragon ages, those are awful.
I really hope they patch this and put back all conversations as close up cutscenes like in previous titles.

I hear the soundtrack a lot throughout the game, exploring. It comes in 20-30 second cues.
There were more cinematic companion cutscenes in this game than in previous Dragon age or Mass Effect games. On average, a minimum of 4 more cinematic companion dialogue scenes. They then added onto that by allowing us to experience even more dialogue exchanges through the 3rd person view, which allowed them to add even more dialogue to enrich the game.

I get this a lot. It's almost certainly related to the banter bug - if your music drops out often, you're likely afflicted by that one too. Hopefully, they can get a fix out soon.

The only place I never used to get music in was Val Royeaux. Everywhere else was fine though. To fix that, all you need to do is go to your war table, and fast travel to any location from there. It seems that backing out of the war room is what causes this.

The problem is that this solution works every time, except when it doesn't. It's still unclear what causes the bug in the first place. I've tried every solution offered and so far the only thing that has seemed to fix it was playing origin offline while I was hiding from the disastrous patch 2.
Hopefully they can figure out how to reproduce it and fix it.

That might account for it as well I suppose. I've been in offline mode since the latest patch myself.
