So, I started a new game a few days ago....All seemed well, then 8 hours in I got to Redcliffe and saw the Hero of Ferelden statue. It was then that I realised that my Keep import had not worked and the world-state was completely wrong.

 

Fast-forward to yesterday, I make sure everything is alright in the keep, then start another new game...Again, all seemed well until I got to Redcliffe and again saw that statue...the same wrong world-state.

 

Really fed up now!

 

What is the quickest way to tell if it has imported properly?

Well. During the charactor creator bit. Alt tab head to the keep. It should be in current playthrough. Then you can get a quick overview or you can copy it to editable and then look at it in the tapestry
