Where do i go? i've tried looking around shops i never seem to pull up any loot anywhere, granted i'm only Mordin and Garrus in, clever garrus, also stopped at the citadel First off the bat to say hi  to anderson and such but seriously where can i find an SMG at least? armor i have come by on the occasion in stores good weapons not so much so.

also how do you tell the difference in wepon stats in this one? ME 1 was so simple, confusing on the sniper rifles but simple otherwise.

There's only 1 other SMG I've found besides your starter, and it's on the Tali recruit mission. It's really really hard to miss.

i started as an infiltrator and i don't recall getting an SMG yet, i have that burst pistol a heavy pistol Sniper rifle and 3 heavy weapons one of wich is the terminus super gun.

The machine pistol is the starting SMG. You find an upgrade later.

There is no loot, you just find and scan a weapon model on a mission.

There are no weapon stats. The second sniper rifle is basically a version of the same with a magazine and more ammo; then on a storyline mission you get the chance to take one upgraded favourite weapon. The soldier has a choice between the Revenant machine gun (lots of fun), a Krogan super-shotgun (the same that you get for Grunt as his upgrade) and an anti-materiel rifle. I suppose my infiltrator would get the anti-materiel rifle and something else (maybe an SMG?).

You can always go back at the weapons locker. I know I prefer the accuracy of the Vindicator battle rifle (a lot like its Halo counterpart), but sometimes the Revenant delivers like no other. When dozens of husks were rushing me in a particular mission, I was grateful to have it.

it just seems a shame there is no loot and no actual weapon shops thus far, i just gt tali and i'm working on the lyalty missions now before grabbing any more squad mates.

The Infiltrator has a chance to get the AMR, and weapons training in Shotgun or Assault Rifle, The AMR is awesome, it RIPS through defenses, I pwned the Harbingers easily with it, even the Scions.

Ive only found the first two, default machine pistol and the Tali mission one, and I like both of them. Playing on Veteran, shreading through synthetics with Disruptor, and putting others on ice with cryo quickly and effeciently. I also have the bonus Biotic Barrier skill, so rushing in for sniper ammo isnt quite as dangerous.

i've had that now since yesterday it works very very well i snipe more often as well i just noticed that recently.
