Fool's Errand by Robin Hobb. I just finished the Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb and decided to move right into the Tawny Man trilogy since it is a continuation of the story. I'd definitely recommend them.

True, Hobbs books are entertaining and have just enough innovation :) I should get the last book of the Tawny Man series..

I was not a fan of the Farseer trilogy, but to be fair, I think a large part of that was the protagonist being such a royal idiot.

I'm in college. Thank goodness for English majors, though, because I get to savor my 'textbooks' (and be exposed to a variety of materials that I wouldn't encounter otherwise on a daily basis). My current reading for an African American literature class is Charles Chesnutt's "The Marrow of Tradition", a 1901 historical novel that was inspired by race riots and explores issues of racial identity, politics, and the ugly truth of what humans are capable of thinking and doing. Not a pleasant read, but I'm glad for it.

I've read a few trilogies in the Dragonlance series (Chronicles, Legends, and the Dark Disciple) and have really enjoyed them.  I would recommend giving another series a try, though.  I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Aye I probably should; I don't know if there's anything that could best it in my eyes but a little variety never killed anybody that I know of.

I can tell you what I'm *not* reading - The Gathering Storm by Brandon Sanderson via notes from Robert Jordan and that fact makes me sad.

I want WOT to finally have an ending.  I know, after this book, there are two more.  :sigh:

It gets released the same day as DA.

I'm reading for fun Star Wars: Fate of the Jedi: Abyss right now. Hopefully I'll finish soon so I can get the next Dragon Age book The Calling and finish it before DA:O releases.

What I'm reading not for fun, a textbook on Nuclear Physics. Though physics is fun on Mythbusters and MacGyver.

I just finished reading the latest Malazan book and having a little trouble accepting the next one is the last of the series.

Now its a choice of rereading until my next book buy day..uhm...either the Belgariad or something Black Libary methinks.

I've just got the Liveship Traders trilogy after having finished the Farseer Trilogy. Didn't realise the Tawny Man trilogy was a continuation, so I'll probably order those and get stuck into them first. I love her writing style, tends to make me feel very relaxed and drawn in.

Although currently I'm wading through Dan Brown's "The Lost Symbol" and rapidly losing the will to live.....definitely his worst work so far. Even though he's not a particularly talented writer, at least some of his stories were catchy, but this one's pretty tedious so far.

Oh, and The Calling arrives tomorrow, so I'll have that to read while the new Hobb books get delivered.

Oooh, I've not read those for many a year, I absolutely loved them, back in the day. Might have a rummage through my book shelves and see if I can find them and have a mooch for nostalgia's sake.
