I just finished Andrzej Sapkowski's The Last Wish and started on his Blood of Elves. As soon as I'm done with that, I'll start on The Calling, which will hopefully have arrived by then.

Am almost ashamed to admit it, but...
Pride And Prejudice and Zombies, by Jane Austin and Seth Grahame-Green.
I am alternately amused and horrified by the results.

The Wheel of Time - The Eye of the World. I thought I'd give it a try given I've heard a number of people say they love it.
Mostly preffering to reach for the non-fiction though.

You know I am the same way. I read the core trilogies every couple of years and its hard to get away from the books I grew up with and love.Ansem62 wrote...
I've never been able to pull myself away from the Dragonlance series; currently reading the Twins trilogy.
As for what I am reading . . .
"The Rising" - Brian Keene (Hands down the best zombie novel every!)
and
"The Protectors War" - S. M. Stirling

I expected to have The Calling delivered today, but unfortunately my swedish bookstore has apparently decided to wait a few more days before importing it (d'oh!). I did, however, get Requiem by Robyn Young delivered today. So that's what I'll be reading for a few weeks from now.
When those two books are read I'm planning on either continuing with the A Song of Ice and Fire-series or Brent Weeks' books about a shadowy assassin

Well, would you look at that. As I stated in the post above, I am rather looking forward to read Brent Weeks' "The Way of Shadows". Is it a good read?Adaram wrote...

She has better ones, but it provided a good reading (and I got the assassin right, yay!)
