There is a cool looking medium armor for Dwarf\Rogue only, which you can find In Hinterlands, but thing is it's for Level 4 and I didn't find any more Carta Coats(finished game twice).

 

...so I'm wondering: Carta Coat Schematic exist or not?

I found carta assassin armor and carta assassin hood schematics in a crate in the Winter Palace. It is the same appearance as the carta coat but a higher tier.

Interesting. Do you recall if it was just a regular crate or if it was in a room that required a halla statue to access? No worries either way.

Sorry, been a while since I picked up the items, Carta assassin is the stand alone items you can find, carta coat and carta hat are the schematics.

Oh, thanks for sharing the images. I've only played the warrior dwarf so far so I wasn't sure how medium armor appeared on them, particularly the Carta version. The other dwarf item I'm curious about is whether or not there is a Legion of the Dead helm that goes with the set armor. I've looked everywhere and googled forums as well so I suspect the answer is no. Thanks again, appreciate it.

For what's worth I also found Carta Assassin Armor for level 11+ in the Western Approach, so it seems like you can get better versions as random drops as well. Unfortunately didn't run into schematics (yet)

I have not found one thus far. Though In my entire 115 hours of single player, I did not find many helmets. RNG was not kind to me.

This morning whilst running through valammar on my nightmare playthrough I found the helmet that goes with the legion of the dead armor. Pictures will be uploaded shortly.. Also those pictures losing sync on my prior post is annoying the crap out of me. I'm going to need to start using imgur now I guess.

Here we are. All three images.

Carta Hat, Carta Coat and Dwarven Helm are all T2 RNG loot chest drops. I found the coat in the hinterlands on this playthrough so that debunked my winter palace fixed drop initial idea. The legion of the dead armor is in one of the tombs in the hissing waste. I got it in the Tomb at the top of the hill east north east of the starting camp but some people have said they got it in the final tomb behind the giant lizard.

i'm far from getting those schematics, but if you don't mind answering, can we change the legion of dead \ carta armor, looks of the shoulders, chest, etc?

They are standalone. So no.

if thats the case then dwarves dont sound very appealing. I'll try to make a qunari, but the idea of a qunari rogue.......it baffles me

No unique Qunari armors in single player...

The reason i don't play Qunari is because they lack more individuality in DA: I. Besides Iron Bull's missions and Qunari Weapons and Vitaar. They are just overgrown humans with gray skin and horns.

There's schematics for Carta Coat posted a bit upthread, seems it has the Assassin armour appearance.
