Am I the only one who has noticed that some armors don't fit with their names? I will try to post some screenshots later, but I have a feeling that some armors names don't match their looks. For example, Battlemage Armor Boots look as if they were made of leather, whereas the Battlemage Coat or Mail boots have a lot of metal in them. Battlemaster Armor for Iron Bull consist of a tiny leather pauldron and a few straps, whereas the Battlemaster Mail is a massive plate armor. Cassandra's Battlemaster Armor shoulders look a lot less massive than their mail counterparts, and my Rogue has some Hunter Mail Arms that look completely metal and Hunter Armor Arms that are made of leather. The materials seem to be right though (Armor requires metal whereas mail or coat need leather/cloth, but the looks of them seem to be completely wrong)

 

Maybe it's me who is getting the order wrong, but I see it as Armor>Mail>Coat.

I find mail is the most armored, Coat is the best looking, and armor is just rubbish. I think armored is meant to be not so much heavily armored, just ever so slightly.

But stat-wise I think that armor is the best of them all, then mail and then coat.
