The one you have about your background. I love the multiple options to flesh out our PC so much. I adore it. (Also replaying a human mage and being able to call Ostwick's circle so boring that even when they rebelled it was simply everyone leaving had me lose it laughing).

I really really hope to get more conversations like that in future installments. It was VERY well done.

Yup. My mage visited his parents all the time, was cool with the Templars, and the Ostwick Circle wasn't strict because of it.

Indeed. Loved how I got to flesh out my Qunari's feelings on the Qun, and the merc stories you could tell. And rant about the salary. :S

That's the #1 conversation I'm excited to have every character, haha. Love it for that exact reason.

Yup!

My mage had a crush on one of the templars, but he was too shy to do anything with it.  <_<

^_^  I did enjoy designing my own background that way.  I wouldn't mind more like that in future games.

I liked the circle mage option about there being this Templar my Inquisitor had a crush on I just wished they would've let me choose the outcome of it as well.

While, I didn't play a mage but a warrior, I was glad to be able to flesh out my human PC. I chose the option with politics. The Trevelyan for me ( in my headcanon ), are lovely parents, but power hungry, unscrupulous, ruthless, very good politicians, fighting to be the best, the most influencual family, the most powerful in Ostwick. People which don't hesitate to shed blood for that.

And that's where come from many characters traits of my PC !

The religion option was good for me too, I like to think that my noble has many cousins among the templars and the priests of the Chantry and that my family was very pious.Since I choose the templar path as allies, it helps me to flesh out even more why my pc chose to see them first rather than the mages.

I really wanted to meet some of the Qunari Inquisitor's merc group. Shokrakhar sounded hilarious.

I love how Josie is a little disappointed when she realises that it wasn't the passionate, forbidden love affair she was hoping for...

I pick "I've seen mages uner the Qun"  I think that sets the tone a lot

I'm trying to picture growing up as a qunari....then as a mage...... that must have been a really hard life

I'm playing a tal-vasoth female qunari mage, talk about ticking off all the boxes

I agree, we need more fleshing out our background convos. It was so well done.

It's great, and it offers so much freedom for characterization. The most remarkable thing, imo, is how it seems to let you have a negative opinion about something without it having to be impolite or aggressive.

My character didn't have to outright rant against the chantry for it to be clear that they weren't enthusiastic about it, or their family's religious devotion.

In the same vein, what about the conversation with Gisele after you find out the truth about

Spoiler

There are several other options too, from such a variety of perspectives.

I like when the Dwarven Inquisitor can tell Josie to stop being judgmental and not everyone grew up with a roof over Their head and three meals a day.

I loved that conversation, as I played the Inq as being unsure of what to think about it the entire time and probably the last to start to believe...

Haha, It was a great thing to see my character disappointed that he hadn't been finally helped by Andraste. ( the option I chose... ) I could have written something myself to describe how he felt so sad after the revelation. Just imagine, for months everyone thinks you are the chosen one, even you did believe it too for a while, and finally, you are actually just lucky.  The shock !  :o

I also loved when we talk to Giselle about faith after the attack of Coripheus. But anyways most of convos with Giselle let us flesh out our Pc about what he feels over some things.

That's very interesting. My head canon for the Trevelyans mainly circles around a traditionalist inflexibility. I picture a stern and uncompromising Patriarch, in particular.

Yeah, I cracked up on that one. If she had really said "Well, ****" I might have fallen out of my chair though.

I enjoyed my Trevelyan mocking his social climbing family. The 8th most prestigious family in Ostwick! Or was it 7th?

I can just imagine how utterly thrilled they'd be to find out their son is hooking up with a Tevinter mage who he may be distantly related to. Ahahahaaa. Glorious.

It was great to bring a bit of background to them instead of just headcannoning it. Particularly with the mage I've started playing as. I wanted her to have actually liked being in the Circle (A bit like Finn in Witch Hunt) and the options with Josie allowed me to have that. The Ostwick circle sounded pretty chilled out
