That sucks, get out of the creator and start again. I had the diappearing issue with enemies and companions in dragon age 2. It was wwird fighting and talking to red and white circles.

I am having this problem too.
I tried with the default world settings and with the custom world settings on dragonagekeep. Also with a female mage human and elf. I changed some of the display, subtitles, and graphics settings, so I'm going to set everything to default and try again.
Update: I tried different origins and the default settings, but all I could see was the green, misty background. When I just chose one of the defaults, dramatic music started playing and then it looked like I fell out of the map and into the sky. My compass would move if I pressed buttons and I could access the menu, but my Inquisitor was still invisible. Very frustrating and upsetting!
Update: I realized that my Video Card and CPU speed aren't good enough to run this game.
