Yes. I had to build iron bull with tank spec as I am reaver 2h already. It does work pretty well if coupled with specific crafted gear and stats. I leave it to you to figure this out.

Cool. I did Champion last time and didn't want that again, or Templar. I felt Invulnerable by the time I speced out Champion, so want to change it up.

I would not recommend as you main char because you will be a too sparse in 3 different trees, so there will be sacrifices to be made. Also a reaverr tank they way I build it anyway, relies a lot on passive skills so you wont have too many abilities to play with. It will be quite boring to play. It's a dps tank with fear, needs a lot of support as it doesn't have many tools to build guard besides taunts and weapons with guard building.

I just bring along Cassandra or Blackwall as my main tank, leaving me to run around and rip people apart. No guard needed.

A Reaver DPS does not need Guard, as long as the Reaver has good damage mitigation in the first place from SnS passives and proper gear.

Guard is overrated. It's practically meaningless on a tank late-game. There is no meaningful difference between taking 1 damage to health or taking 1 damage to Guard. The only thing worthwhile from the Champion tree is To the Death, which will give your party greater damage output than the Reaver abilities would. In fact, To the Death is arguably the 3rd best damage output ability, after Flask of Lightning and Mark of Death.

Templar offers decent control and very nice party buffs. However, I'd rather have that on a support warrior, since only the tank can play around with To the Death without actually dying.
