I keep seeing all these screen shots of awesome looking vitaar.

 

But I keep finding the same 4 every where I go there not very good either. The strongest one I found had a rating of 11 :/ 

 

Any one know if its possible to craft them? or where to find good ones?

I'd like to know this as well. As far as I can see, Qunari cannot wear any interesting armor. Even the vitaaar is just a few different styles and they all suck... hard...

Is the one from bulls quest for bull only? That one looks cool.

There are some good farmable vitaars in the cradle of sulevin if you're high level. My favorite is the keen poison spider vitaar. There's also the Arishok vitaar you obtain by unlocking all the doors in the forbidden oasis. 

 

And no, you cannot craft vitaar.

Doesn't make a lot of sense having helmets be race gated. I have a top notch smith and someone with deep ties to the carta and can't find someone to drill a cpl holes in a hat? Just saying.

why is there no vitaar crafting, this is disappointing to say the least. (Sten could use helmets in dao but now even without horns it is impossible it seems)

You get a cool one for doing Bull's personal quest. All I'll say is don't forget to loot

Its just another example of Bioware being lazy when it comes to Qunari.

Every-f*cking-where. Seriously. Being a Dalish elf and finding so much Vitaars without killing a single Qunari in the entire game is just wrong. The loot on this game is awful.
