The Uncharted series.
Portal 2
999 & VLR
Zelda: Majoras Mask
Baldurs Gate 2
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
Hmm... I don't know for sure..... there are so many games I feel like I've forgotten and others where the opinion changes, but ok, this second something like
Final Fantasy VI
A Link to the Past
Symphony of the Night
Super Mario Galaxy
Valkyria Chronicles
Thief: The Dark Project
Thief: The Metal Age
F.E.A.R
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon
Baldur's Gate II + ToB
And if the upcoming patches for Dragon Age Inquisition will work as promised it might make it onto the list as well.

God(oka) I really need to get to this one eventually.. It's like the title that every true FF fan says is the best >_<
I'm curious if it would manage to dethrone FF9 as my personal favorite.
FF9
Portal series
ME series
DA:O
WarCraft 3
KoTOR
That one game about the thing.
Halo (The first fps I really got into in an unhealthy way.)
XCOM: EU
The Witcher series.
Shadow of The Colossus
Probably more than listed but I guess these are the ones at the tippy top.
I don't know if these are 10/10 but they certainly had an effect on me more than many of the other games I've played.
P.S. Lost Odyssey. IMO underrated game and awesome JRPG.

What?! You never played FF6... I really need to stop assuming everyone's played all these things..
Personally I think FF4, 6, 7, and 9 are all pretty dang fun. People like to draw these super strong distinctions like 7 is godly or 4 is nothing but really, they aren't all that different IMO. V seemed kind of disappointing relative to the norm, and VIII and X are the Nomura era of kind of cool female characters and abysmal male ones that continues on into the present day. I mean to make this post on topic I could see giving FF7 and 9 10/10s also.... maybe...
The reason I gave 6 the slight edge over 7 or even 9 (which I also liked quite a bit), is probably because it just sort of felt like the stakes were higher or something. It's sort of a wrecked world. There's some really crushing stuff emotionally, like <small spoilers> a comatose ex-lover who is resurrected only to say a few words to her lover before truly dying, an assassin who decides to give up his life after running from his past, a general that semi-gives up after realizing she couldn't save her grandfather from death, a devoted warrior who loses his wife and young child to war.
Actually now that I think about there's more than that, tons of death and destruction.. but there's kind of a soft heart in the middle of Final Fantasy that amplifies the tragedy... or something..
and of course, the madness that is Kefka and his lines like,
This is sickening... You sound like chapters from a self-help booklet! Prepare yourselves!
As well as the opera house sequence.
and final fantasy X.

I know I know... It's among my greatest shames as a gamer ![]()
It's on my list of things to do though! I just never had easy access to that one at the time. Even FF7-9 I could only play whenever I went to visit my uncle growing up (although I own all 3 now)
and final fantasy X.
Underrated game imo
sadly only even played that and 13. God, I wish I had brain bleach for that game.
The Mass effect trilogy and KOTOR are basically my 10/10 games. Grew up with those games, and if I never got KOTOR as a 7 year old I have no idea where I would be ![]()
The Last of Us gets an honorable mention though. One of the best games I've ever played.
Not many games in 10/10 category:
Star Wars: Jedi Knight II - Jedi Outcast
Civilization V: Brave New World
Age of Empires II: Conquerors
?
But I have a dozen or more with 9 and 9.5 score.
The Last of Us
Batman: Arkham City
Portal 2
Uncharted 2
Mass Effect 2
Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2

Plus: Dragon Age: Origins, Mass Effect trilogy, The Wicther series ,Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 1&2, SW: Battlefront 2, Star wars: Jedi academy, Fallout 3, Skyrim ( With Mods ) Half-life 1&2......

Actually strangely enough I'm in a (similar) category, I borrowed 4 and 6 for instance from someone else.. never owned them but still played them throughout. 7 I slowly played in chunks over a long period of time by repeatedly visiting their place and playing in on their own playstation.
8 I finally decided to get them myself, so I actually only have 8, 9, 10, and 12.
I think someone gave me X-2 but I might of thrown it really hard at a wall or out the window.....
Just Kidding X-2! You are ok.... ![]()
Star Wars: Jedi Knight II - Jedi Outcast
Charming game.

Dragon Age: Origins, Mass Effect trilogy,The Wicther series,Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 1&2,SW: Battlefront 2,Star wars: Jedi academy,Fallout 3, Skyrim ( With Mods )Half-life 1&2......
All the games uncrossed I've played. lel
I'm too picky to give anything 100%

I concur that IV, VI, and VII are by far the best FF games (though I admit I haven't played any since VIII which I thought sucked).
I especially soaked hours upon hours into FFVII, mainly from doing sidequests, playing minigames, breeding chocobos, collecting and upgrading materia, etc. and I still don't think I 100% completed the game. That **** was deep. They just don't make games like that anymore.
Disclaimer: I don't really believe in the idea of a game being 10/10 but I'll play along anyway.
Driver
Driver 2
System Shock 2
Bioshock
Fallout New Vegas
Deus Ex
Deus Ex Human Revolution
The Last of Us
The Swapper
Mass Effect 1/2
Madden 2004
Battlefront

VIII had so many weird and not really fun things going on. The Junction/Draw system was a massive pain in the Chocobo. Also most of the stories and scenarios felt like they were kind of thrown against a wall and re-arranged by playing a game of twister. Some people like Squall but probably most don't (like me). The Laguna side missions never really felt like they were going anywhere... etc. The summons took 15 minutes to cast.
There are some shockingly unfun design ideas also like a dungeon which is basically one environment (a circle, basically) copy-pasted 15 times, and not only do you go down it once but go back up it.. if I'm not mistaken.
The biggest problem was probably whenever the action was coiled into something exciting (the Edea assassination mission, the break into the radio tower, the train hijacking), I feel like the tension always dispersed in a completely unsatisfying way (you fail to take her down, you decide not to break in, the president was actually a zombie clone (seriously what?))
Thus even though there were a number of cool things at the same time (the initial infiltration mission, Rinoa, Edea, Ultimecia), it felt just sunk by that point.
Consequently... not a 10/10... X would probably be closer to that...
IX kind of streamlined and purified the baggage, made the game more accessible and interesting, made a more direct and appealing main character (Zidane), as well as resurrected older ideas like the imperious general (Beatrix in place of General Leo) as well as the silliness (the Black mage ensemble, interactive duels and plays).

You got a lot further than I did. I couldn't even finish playing it. I was just way too offput by the main character, storyline, and atrocious combat system.
I also spoiled the rest of the story for myself out of curiosity and the whole thing with the orphanage is just laughable. Not the series' finest moment and probably the reason I don't bother playing newer FF games.
