Guards especially get mighty annoying when it comes to hard fights. Floriane is one I can mention without any spoilers involved. Dragons as well.
I hate when the enemy is at their last whims of health and get a full health bar of guard on them. Bull and Blackwall have guard abilities and both of them have their updated version of the guard. But when I am fighting one enemy they either get half guard or a few bars of guard. So, why does the enemy get full guard if they are surrounded by one or two enemies?
Personally to balance out the system, I think Guard and Barrier abilities should cost a sliver of health. Because its effing dogshite that the enemies get that much guard and I have to hack away at it when they were already hard enough on their own. Or maybe perhaps they shouldn't get full health guard.
