I think that warrior class lags behind a bit compared to all the other professions. It's not bad, I'm just saying its a bit more "tame"
Their is one problem with combat. They're is 1 profession that isn't as "interesting" as there counterparts.

I found playing a rogue lamer than playing a warrior personally- I can at least tank as a warrior. Rogues seem to have damage comparable to mages and warriors, but with less survivability.

Well, no - rogues have both more survivability and damage than mages and warriors, but you do have to know how to play and build them.

More damage? Depends. More survivability? Definitely not. And you have to know how to play them? Please, Rogues aren't hard at all if you disregard the Artificer spec.
That being said, an offensive Reaver probably offers the best consistent damage output in the game while a Fire specced KE has the absolute best Burst Combo.
And no Rogue spec will ever offer the survivability of a KE or Champion (or even a Templar with a lot of points in the Vanguard tree), unless you're playing a Tempest Archer and only fighting against melee enemies.

More damage, yes. No Reaver or mage is going to do that.
I didn't say rogues are "hard", you still have to play them properly to get the best damage. The "hardest" part is getting the right gear.
Rogues get survivability because nothing beats stealth.

No and no. Reaver damage output doesn't come even remotely close to a DW rogue and as for the best mage spec for damage it's not surely KE but Rift with the insane mana regeneration and possibility to spam burst combos all day long.

Except against other Rogues. Or enemies with perceptive or the fact that most boss characters can't be put to sleep.

Why would you need to put boss characters to sleep? And if you run a decent party, you're going to have a tank. You can just evade and stealth and the AI isn't going to chase you around when your tank is taunting.

I don't say this often but when I do I mean it:
You have no idea what you're talking about.
Feel free to make a video of your best Warrior on Nightmare with your entire group against any boss, dragon or encounter. Then I'll post mine of me doing it faster on my rogue solo.
Ball's in your court.

Are you seriously this bad with the English language? Usually I don't take misspellings on the internet with such offense because, in general, the internet is a pretty casual place, but WOW! Not only do you manage to foul up the correct version of the word there that you're attempting to use, but you also manage to do it twice. All while picking a different version for the same word for the exact same purpose in each case.
How is someone supposed to take your post seriously after a title like that? How is it even possible to take the same word and seriously mistake it for two different words? I'm not sure if it's more amazing or revolting but I am certainly in a revolted awe. How old are you? Did you even attend public schooling as a child? Where are your parents? This is brutal.
Stop playing video games and go back to school for an education. Please.
P.S. My apologies to anyone who hates grammar rants but I'm sure in such an extreme case you'll make an exception.
P.P.S. If English is not your first language then I retract everything I've said.

One more for good measure on how to properly use "they're", "there" and finally "their":

I agree with the OP in that I think 2H Warrior and the Reaver spec are pretty underwhelming.

I found reaver pretty fun. The animations are these big dragon claws you swipe things with, an aoe that synergizes with your other skills as well.
By far the most boring warrior spec is Champion. That's just a spec full of passives and the active abilities are extremely situational. And unnecessary.
Cassandra without any immunity skills is pretty much unkillable by anything on nightmare to begin with.

Thee OP has appoint. Its' often the case that dealing damaeg is moar interesting then taeking itt.
Plenty of people disagree.
W&S is the only highly reactive spec in the game, the rest is utterly boring if you ask me.

Funny because I found the mage to be extremely boring in Inquisition. Not bad or whatever, just boring. Nothing like my mages in past Dragon Age games. So far I'm finding my 2H warrior more interesting even if he is harder to play.

Well Arishok, I have the nug icon in MP and guess which class is almost always the missing one in public games when it comes to treasure room coverage?
It really is noticeable. Sometimes I'll suit up with a level 19 mage or rogue to get it to 20, but run into lobby after lobby, in-progress game after in-progress game, with no warrior, and end up having to bring one to round out the team.
Of course it's a matter of preference, but with >300 PuGs in DAMP I'm beginning to see where people's preferences lie.

The only bad spec in the game is necromancer the rest are either good or OP.
