There are only two things in history that can propel a nation into a global power:

1. War

2. The threat of War

Question: Aren't carriers have a big weakness against Submarines?

If so, a submarine based Navy will be stronger than USA's carrier based Navy.

Carriers have airplanes, which have +10 Attack versus Submarines, which is one reason why carriers are more popular than submarines these days.

WWW3 is very unlikely. Globalisation has led to a point where nearly all the economies in the world are hugely reliant on each other and free global trade has create more peace around the planet than anything the UN could do.

If WWW3 ever did happen, it would likely be the result of the failed multiculturalism experiment reaching its fulcrum, either that, or a religious war.

But knowing this forum and it's overly PC terms and conditions, I will say no more.

I agree with everything except for 'the failed'.

It succeeds in many places. I live in one place where it does.

Globalization was a UN initiative in cooperation with corporations, so huh?

What if African Countries take over the world?

Some stories and theorists think this is possible. That a united and progress-driven Africa could surprise most people in the coming decades. Some think this is why they're 'kept down' by colonial/corporate/etc interests.

Perhaps Mexico? They have all the land and the natural resources they need to become a superpower, along with a young population.

Mexico, the lawless land run by drug lords??

You'd be wrong. The US Navy has been putting most of its money into laser based weapons these days, which can presumably be used to guide trained attack tigers onto enemy vessels. Tigers are excellent swimmers.

My military knowledge at best doesn't surpass 1980s! Well there is some Call of Duty and Civilization V, but that's it.

The South Eastern Africa is progressing well these years. From Kenya (and possibly Ethiopia) to Mozambique and also South Africa (the Gemlord and the old Dutch-English base).
