SJW basically means Social Justice Warriors. It's known to be pejorative to that brand of people who fight for social rights and stuff like that. People just say SJW because it's shorter.

So now I'm a fanboy and a BioWare apologist?
You just basically call people names the second they say something you don't like, I take it?
I didn't see anyone say "shove off." And plenty of people were polite when sharing their opinion.
I don't think I'll take advice about what is rude or insulting from someone who calls people names for not openly agreeing with him. I haven't even shared my opinion on any of this, I was merely pointing out your hypocrisy.
Sweetheart, two things:
a ) read the first page of posts.
and
b ) please go cry to your own momma, I've already got my own kids to pamper. there's a good lad.
Toodles.

I got sympathy for women, people of color, LGBTs and all, but whenever they use violence and insults to make their statements, I just cringe. I'm part of the LGBT community, I'm against racism and sexism, but some movements out there just... make... me shiver...

I never heard it either. Might be just confusing it with Keyboard activist in this instance?.

Jimbo Gee, I share your sentiments. However, what really ticked me off was the blatant SJW and Homosexual Agenda pandering. I mean, hello? Most of your market are heterosexual dudes. And you're shoving stuff they don't like in their faces. Repeatedly.
Why pander to a mere 3% of the population when the vast majority just want an awesome RPG that focuses on fun and not on sexuality?
at "homosexual agenda" simply for LGBT characters daring to exist, although ill give you credit for not saying "shoved down my throat" like the usual anti-gay content people do ![]()

They're synonyms as the whole thing started on places like Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr. You meet a lot of them IRL, but it mostly applies online these days.

It doesn't really mean anything anymore, just used as a insult to anyone who says things in support of changing the status quo like asking for more female PC's or LGBT representation now

Is always funny when certain straight guys who are against gay content always seem to be obsessed with it getting "shoved down their throat" at least say something that isn't such a obvious double entendre

The writers aren't SJWs until they parade around blogging about how evil straight white males are and how women put themselves down via internalized misogyny.

Tbh, I'm quietly hoping the Black Emporium will fix all the issues I had with DA:I. But honestly, after playing What Pride Had Wrought and seeing the OMFG after credits scene, I don't get how anyone who enjoys Dragon Age can be 'done' with it on the basis of DA:I.

Again with the characters. Dorian was about two steps away from singing show tunes and asking where Emerald city was. We get it Dorian you're gay. Why would anyone outside a romance option feel the need to tell anyone?
The conversation with Krem is another example I felt perfectly fine being completley ignorant until you felt the need to point out that all was not right. Are the trans gender community appeased now? have they stopped writing you threatening letters because you have made it blatantly obvious there is a transgender in there? Oh good I can get on with my life now.
Shut up. ![]()

To be fair. The dialog with and about Krim was just really weird and it confused the hell outta me.
Maybe it was just cause i was only paying half attention, but it was kinda like going around in circles?.

I wonder where the OP was for these characters so that he/she could scream: "WE GET IT! YOU'RE HERE TO TITILLATE A BUNCHA DUDES ON THEIR COUCHES!" I am willing to bet money this was never screamed/posted to a forum/whined about.

The implication was pretty clear.
well the difference is significant. It's like if two women are talking about an outfit it's ok to say it look kinda horish, but it's considered rude to just go for it and say you look like a hore. Same analogy is telling someone that s/he is acting idiotic or saying that s/he is an idiot.
On the other hand after I read some other posts from that player and based on that s/he called me a mate altho we never spoke (discussed) before suggest we're dealing with the member of younger half of player base.
