AOE Weapons in combination with certain abilities

I have a dagger with normal damage in my first hand

and an AOE-damage-dagger in the other

If I used the AOE dagger in my first hand,

would abilities like flank attack do AOE damage?

Since Twin Fangs uses both daggers, I am guessing that this is already the case

for half of the hits ?

AoE weapons have no affect on skills.

The skill will remain single target or AoE regardless of weapon.

Actually i want to do some proper testing with AoE.

Turns out i was accidently testing with a inquisition dagger before, but i got same results with AoE dagger.

The animation seems interesting though. It looks like you might atk with both daggers simultaneously though sort of like dual striking from DAO.

Going to test this later/tomorrow when i have more time and compare.
